Este año hemos vuelto una vez más al hotel y volvemos encantados porque hemos descansado, desconectado y nos hemos divertido. Algunas habitaciones empiezan a necesitar una reforma, pero son amplias. Con 4 restaurantes temáticos con variedad de comidas. 100% preparado para celíacos. Cerca de la playa, cerca del pueblo y con animación para quien le guste quedarse en el hotel. Personal muy atento y amable todo el tiempo. Hotel muy recomendable para familias y adaptado a personas que no puedan tomar gluten.

A nossa estadia no Barceló Punta Umbría ficou muito aquém das expectativas. Apesar do quarto ser espaçoso e da casa de banho confortável, tivemos uma experiência inaceitável: quando fomos deitar, a cama do nosso filho não estava feita com roupa lavada. Num hotel desta categoria, este tipo de falha é grave e não deveria acontecer. As piscinas estavam constantemente sobrelotadas e as espreguiçadeiras sempre ocupadas, o que tornava impossível relaxar nesse espaço. A sensação era de excesso de gente por todo o lado, sem organização suficiente para garantir conforto aos hóspedes. A praia, embora não fique junto ao hotel, é agradável e de fácil acesso, mas não compensa os problemas vividos dentro do resort. Em termos de refeições, apenas o restaurante Estero se destacou positivamente, sendo de longe o que apresentou melhor qualidade. No geral, o hotel tem potencial pela localização, mas a gestão, a organização e a atenção ao detalhe falham em pontos fundamentais. Não corresponde ao padrão que se espera de um Barceló.

Resort é grande, a comida tem pouca qualidade. Umas simples batatas fritas estavam a nadar em óleo e completamente cruas. A piscina é grande e a água estava quente (26º +/-) mas ao mergulhar/nadar só se sente cabelos. Os quartos são grandes. espaçosos e confortáveis.
