Generally I liked the hotel. The food was tasty and the facilities were nice. Even though the room was not very clean. I even found a pack of someone’s pack of cigs there. Also the system with the irons and fees for the towel are not comfortable at all. Let’s keep in mind that they position them as a 4 star hotel….

This hotel is disgusting… We stayed all of 2.5 hours before making the best decision to leave. Family pool was dirty, green slime around the edge with black slimy bits in the water. Pavement area around the pool and all external areas were dirty and obviously not cleaned or maintained for a long time. Our rooms were not ready on arrival, but keeping an open mind following the reception greeting from a young man in a dirty white crumpled shirt we made our way to the family pool. We have 2 year old with us so got her some food from the pool cafe which was dirty with wasps crawling out of the drinks machine taps. The tray the food was passed over on was not clean with food debris in the corners. Once we had experienced both these areas, it was enough to start the move to a different hotel process. Which thankfully we did do. This hotel was not cheap and definitely not a 4* Jet 2 holidays needs to go and review it again. Might just scrape a 2* if it’s lucky! I

Absolutely terrible experience, the cleanliness was revolting from the moment we walked in. And then it just got worse and worse. We couldn’t go to the rooms until 3pm so we took our luggage to the room they keep them in, changed in the disabled toilet then we went to the kids pool that was in another area to the main hotel, and it was even worse and I have a two year old daughter. The pool and all the area around was so so unclean, along with the cafe area. I was worried for my daughter and my family! The sun beds were sooo dirty we didn’t even want to sit on them. We went and got a couple of drinks, the dispensers were dirty, tray dirty to carry food on! I was so shocked as this was supposed to pride itself on being a family hotel. As the hotel is rated 4* I would never have imagined the hotel to be as it was. We checked out the hotel after 2.5 hours as we could not stay here with the condition that it was in. I cannot comment on the rooms because we didn’t get that far.

This place needs money spending on it in many areas. The ground, cleaning and waitress staff are always friendly. The bar staff not so! The entertainment team are second to none. The smoke in the communal areas is like being in a 80s nightclub truly shocking.

We have been to this location 3 times now and have never been disappointed. As a family with two young children this resort is perfect. Everything you need on site with a park and beach just mins walk away. Safe, clean, friendly and plenty to do.

Arrived early morning, room wasn’t ready until 3 o’clock so spent the day just sitting around waiting which was a waste of our first day. The food in the restaurant was really disappointing to start with, the meat and fish was a very poor quality, fatty, stringing and cheap, however this did improve throughout our stay. Bedding wasn’t changed. We had to ask for clean sheets and apparently we weren’t the only ones to complain of this. The communal areas outside aren’t cleaned very often especially around the children’s waterpark area. There were consistently cups and dirty plates from the day before that were never ever picked up. They were there for days on end. The drinks behind the bar even if you’re all inclusive the premium branded drinks displayed are not included and the cocktails were terrible. On the whole this wasn’t what we were expecting for a four star hotel and we were generally a bit disappointed and we wouldn’t recommend to anyone or go back.

Beautiful hotel with beach nearby and very good food, but Giada, the head entertainer at the Occidental Menorca, is an absolute superstar! She brings incredible energy and passion to her work, making every guest feel welcome and included. Her lively spirit and infectious smile create a fantastic atmosphere around the hotel, and she has a knack for organizing fun and engaging activities for all ages. Giada's professionalism and genuine kindness truly make her stand out, and she is a huge reason why our stay was so memorable. She is a real asset to the hotel!

Good location and the majority of staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms are very compact and ours had two single beds pushed together which wasn’t great. The rooms are basic, a small fridge and very basic tea / coffee making facilities, a hairdryer in the bathroom and that’s about it. We weren’t planning on spending much time in the room, so it wasn’t a huge problem, just a little surprised for a 4 star hotel. Shower blocked on first use and flooded the room, but maintenance turned up fairly quickly once I showed reception a picture of the situation…. Overall it’s ok, not memorable but the food is adequate, the general facilities are ok, it’s just starting to look rather tired, a bit like us after sleeping in those single beds…..
