We recently stayed for 10 nights. While there are definitely some strong points — particularly for families — overall the resort was too busy and inconsistent for our taste. That said, I can see how others might love it, so here’s a fair and honest overview. The Positives: The resort is well-maintained with plenty for children to enjoy. Our kids loved the zip wire, the play park, and especially the INSI splash zone with its big slides — always a hit. The rooms were spacious and clean, and daily housekeeping was a bonus. Towels were only changed once during our 10-night stay (around day 7), which felt a bit long — halfway through would have made more sense. Reception staff were fantastic — welcoming, helpful, and really accommodating. I like to train early, and although the gym officially opens at 8am, they unlocked it for me at 6am each morning on request. A small detail maybe, but it made a big difference to my mornings. The indoor pool was a great quiet space for the kids to practise swimming, and we preferred the upper pool to the main one at the bottom — though both were quite busy. Location-wise, it’s great. The beach at Punta Prima is only a 5-minute walk and is lovely. We also enjoyed drinks at Basico, the beach bar, before heading out for evening meals. Nearby villages Binibeca Vell and Sant Lluis are easy to get to by taxi and well worth a visit. Food & Drink: We had breakfast and lunch at the resort but chose to eat out every evening (except for one night at Aire, the Spanish tapas restaurant). Food across the main buffet and bars was average — 3-star quality at best. The coffee was poor, and while wine was served in glasses in the restaurants, I was surprised to be given it in a plastic cup at the main bar in the evening — which felt more poolside than appropriate for a nighttime drink. There was also no bottled water available from the bar in the evenings, which was disappointing. The cocktail menu was hit and miss. One evening’s “special” was an espresso martini, which was honestly undrinkable — it didn’t even resemble one. In our view, the resort would be better off offering four or five well-made cocktails rather than a large menu of low-quality ones. The a la carte experience at Aire was a highlight — beautifully prepared food and mostly excellent service. Only downside was trying to order dessert at the end when staff had already started clearing down. Still, it was easily the best meal we had on-site. It’s just a shame you only get one a la carte booking for a 10-night stay — we would’ve happily gone back. The BBQ restaurant near the main pool was our favourite lunch spot. The chicken, turkey, and pork were great — but the beef and lamb were so chewy they were practically inedible. The accompanying salads, veg, and potatoes were lovely though. We also discovered that the Italian restaurant doing the “late breakfast” has a separate menu you can order from — but this isn’t advertised. You have to ask at the bar, and even
