Our stay at Breathless was incredible; the room was great, the food was delicious, but the whole experience was taken over the top by our VIP concierge, Pablo. We have stayed in many top-rated hotels and resorts all around the world, but we have never felt so safe and comforted as we did at Breathless. We received a text message from our VIP every day about what activities would happen on the property and when. We were also told many times if we had any problems to let him know or if we were looking to have any experiences or see any shows. He was able to connect the dots with everything. We felt like celebrities and because of it we had an amazing trip.

We love a new resort, especially one that’s been open long enough to have the kinks worked out. This resort has arrival and check in perfected. Quick and concise, do yourself a favour and let them know if you’ve stayed at Secrets before, let’s them know that you’re familiar with the concept and will save you ( and them) time. We booked a preferred club swim out and the room and location ( east facing , middle pool side) just down from the preferred club lower lounge, and central, was great. We had a ten day stay and started all but one day at Oceana for breakfast. Big thank you to Anny the hostess for such a warm welcome everyday. Be sure to practice your Spanish here, you won’t be disappointed. Also thanks to Kevin who improved my Spanish daily and never let me off the hook. What a fabulous ambassador of this resort. We did quite a few lunches at Oceana as well and can’t thank Ediber(sp) enough for his prompt and professional service with a ton of personality. The manager Lemuel Santana was a pleasure to see each day and exuded that old school refinement that used to be the hallmark of five star resorts. The coffee shop was great each day and the staff were always pleasant, no matter how busy. Our favourite restaurant was Tierra, excellent food, beautiful room and the staff were top notch. We went there three times during our ten day stay. We had one meal in the outdoor central courtyard, but preferred being in the restaurant itself. The quality of drinks at the preferred club bars far outshone the main bars. That’s no slight on the main bars, but the preferred club lounges took greater care and may have been working with higher quality ingredients. Overall the preferred club upgrade was worth the money here. We started each morning on the preferred club side of the beach and then moved up to the preferred club pool after lunch. The beach and water entry here are fantastic. Some resorts in the area have lost beach frontage, but this resort is ideally located and positioned the resort perfectly back from the ocean. The loungers, bonus Adirondack chair and palapa are well spaced, so you won’t feel like you are sitting up against your neighbour. You can walk forever on this beach. We did an hour each day, half an hour out and half an hour back. Beach security may stop you and ask to see your room card when you arrive back off the beach, we appreciated the additional security and the guys did a great job. The preferred club pool is excellent, but it does lose the sun in the later afternoon, so if you are a sun person you may want to shift to the activity pool ( middle pool) later in the day. The only issue we experienced in ten days was a group of ten 35-40 somethings that wanted to put their blue tooth speaker on the preferred club swim up bar and play their own music. The bar was already playing music. ??? Someone in management must have said something (thank you!) because that stopped. Great job with the tree light

My family (2 adults and 7 yr old) had a wonderful time at this resort. Beach: Beautiful blue water with sand that wasn't rocky and rough on the feet! I didn't find many remnants of seaweed, so they did a great job of keeping it clean. Waterpark: We loved the lazy river and spent most of our time in it. The bigger slides that adults could ride were not visible from the main section and we did not see any directionals. Lifeguards kindly informed us of where to go for the larger slides. I recommend that you wear water shoes since this is a water park, but also the ground is really hot when you're not in the water. Entertainment: We enjoyed Snick Lounge. Bring cash to put into the machine so that you can play air hockey or billiards pool. Snick Lounge also has retro arcade games for free! We also checked the app to catch where character pop-ups would be to save some $$ and not do character breakfast (although I heard from another guest that the food was worth the $$ since they love lobster). Family Shows: The resort did a great job of putting on nightly shows to entertain families and let the children participate a little. Food: We pretty much ate all meals at Explorers Table (I think it was named something else before??). They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet style. You can also get some items cooked to order at two of the stations there. BurgersPH was a fun experience. We enjoyed Dominican Night to experience local cuisine without having to leave the resort. Service: The staff at the resort were friendly and helpful; although we did run into one male server at the Explorers Table restaurant that wasn't too hospitable. Suite/Room: We booked a swim-up suite which left us disappointed due to the smell in the room and I found many mosquitos flying around our room every day (so they must not treat the outside area for mosquitos). Had I known before booking about the dengue virus (mosquitos transmit) that is rampant in Caribbean and Mexico, I would not have booked a swim-up suite. Other reviewers mention nausea and I wonder if they actually contracted dengue. Also, if you are family that likes to be around others and not secluded, don't splurge on a swim up...the infinity pool is much better and has a swim-up bar!

Other than our butler which was very nice and helpful after the fact we had to spend an extra 4500$ to upgrade to diamond package everything else was not representative of a 5 star this hotel should not be rated past 3 stars should not cost more than 1500$ per week per person. There seems to be a systematic money saving culture and upcharging tactics at this location to which we were held hostage of. This reflects in the opinions of most except for the short stay customers that probably generate more money for the resort. They also keep the prime rooms aside for short stay customers that spend more over their duration of trip. Barely any shade around the pool and anything more than a chair costs more to sit on and they kick you off asking for money. Pool was under construction and other work being done on infrastructure (grinders etc) lack of fans and proper air conditionning in common areas. NO watersports on the beach all closed. Buffet closed 2 days a week (never saw that before). Rooms were clean but thats about it. Buffet very small and VERY VERY HOT. Blacklisted this one save your money go somewhere else its bareley a 3 star. As for employees, some were great other seemed to be drained and also overwhelmed with the lack of fans and heat in their work areas.

Let me start off saying, I stayed at a RIU resort in Jamaica and my experience was totally different from the location in the DR. My friend and I are currently here and have been disappointed the entire trip. Our room has not had A/C the entire time we’ve been here. I’ve submitted 10 request over the past three days and the staff is just closing out the ticket without fixing the problem. We even went to the front desk and asked to be moved to another room and still wasn’t moved. We are literally waking up and going to sleep hot and sweating. The room also has ants(in picture) so I spent the first night being bit. The plates at the restaurants aren’t clean and some of the staff are using their bare hands to prepare the food on the buffet line. Something was floating in the drinking water(pictured) also it smells like sewer on different parts of the resort. No face towels No straws(have to put your mouth on the cups) Dingy towels Dirty pool I will NOT stay at another RIU Resort after this experience. This resort should not have a 5 or a 4 star review.

The hotel was fabulous in that it was clean, spacious, modern, and had a calm business vibe. It is set outside of the main Madrid attractions, which is nice for business travelers. If you are traveling to see the sites, you will need to take an Uber/ taxi, which is about 15-20 minutes per traffic and time of day. It's not bad, but not ideal if you want to walk out from your hotel and be in the action. Apart from location, the front desk staff are super friendly and helpful, the hotel has a modern vibe, and has some cool restaurants located around its vicinity. Im a huge fan of AC hotels now because of this beauty we stayed at in Madrid! Although its kinda far from the attractions, I'd still return and stay at this location again and refer it to future travelers!

The hotel is near the airport, ten minutes walk, very convenient. There is also a shuttle bus to the beach, pay attention to the timetable and don't miss it. There are not too many categories of hotel buffet breakfast, but there are bread, fruit, eggs and meat.

The room is newly renovated! But the design is not novel! Front desk service is average! The restaurant is not bad in the all-inclusive! The pool is good 👍! The sea view room is a bit far away! There are trees on the lower floors that are not recommended!

5 Stars! We had an incredible stay at Eden Roc Cap Cana during the Festive Period. We traveled with our three children (ages 13-16) and another family with children the same age. From the moment we arrived at Eden Roc we knew we were in for a special treat! The level of service, primarily from our two concierge leads, Alberto and Junior, was top notch. From a simple question, to needing things for the room, to arranging transportation, to helping us manage our itinerary, they did everything! The beach and restaurant staff were outstanding! Not only very attentive, but fun to talk to and get to know. They took care of us everyday! The 2025 New Years Eve Party, Allegria, was AMAZING! We danced until after 1:00AM. What a fun experience for our families! HIGHLY recommend! We will definitely be back for another 5 Star and Memorable Experience!
