Kapas Turtle Valley

What a wonderful stay we had here. Nicholas and Nadia are great hosts as is all of their staff. Nadia is a trained chef, and the food here is superior. The location is very secluded with its own position on a small bay, but an easy walk to other parts of the island. The room was comfortable and clean, with a seaview. No air conditioning, but you don't need it considering the proximity to the beach and sea breeze. Hearing the waves from your room was a treat. We witnessed 3 baby turtles being released from the beach to the sea. A wonderful experience. All.in all, a great unforgettable experience.

I ask one of the staff if i can order drink for take away and of the foreigner staff or owner i dont care but he working there being very rude and disrespectful. He is an old man wearing spec with bald head. Bro you in malaysia working here. You're so full of yourself. Very showy, gaudy. Think you own us? Better than local? Just work at a small cafe in an island. Dont feel too proud bro. I hope you get a reality check sooner or later. Kau tunggu masa kau sampai

I want to gatekeep this perfect slice of heaven but realistically I will be bringing my friends and family here because it is toooooo good not to share. Best snorkeling of my life! We were swimming in the ocean multiple times a day, a truly healing experience after dealing with some travel chaos just the day before. All of my stress truly melted away while floating in the crystal clear waters just before sunset. The sea anemones and fish were rainbow in colors, the beach had not a single piece of trash in it, the staff at the small, intimate resort went above and beyond. Nadia and staff are truly the heart of the resort. She pre-booked us a taxi the night before our departure upon learning we had an early flight. That being said, make sure you book an afternoon flight when you leave so that you can enjoy the island just a little longer. You won't want to leave! You will NOT have to worry about sleeping in the heat as there is a very powerful celing fan right above the bed, which my high maintenance partner (Tauruses...) gave the stamp of approval to. There is also a mosquito net and they use smoke coils under the tables at dinner so you won't have to worry about getting bites. As for night life the resort typically closes down after dinner as there are simply too many mosquitos out, so make sure you bring some for of entertainment. There is wifi so I brought my laptop and even finished writing an article for work while enjoying an iced coffee made by the lovely and stupendous staff. I was very proud to be of Malaysian descent after visiting Kapas. Like yes, this is my country and it is BEAUTIFUL and the people here are amazing and the conservation of nature is so nice to see. The fact that is about 2 hours of transit from KL made it so perfect. Nadia sends over detailed instructions on how to get here and it is truly a breeze. I can't recommend this place enough. I feel so healed after swimming in the ocean for days in a row. I will be coming back. Thank you so much for a life changing experience.
