The small shop is surrounded by picturesque scenery, which is very enjoyable. The included dinner and breakfast are also quite exquisite and delicious, which is highly recommended. If I have the opportunity to go to Mt cook again, it will still be my first choice.

We had a fantastic two nights at the Lakestone Lodge. The views of the lake and Mount Cook were superb and the food exquisite at both breakfast and dinner. It is by far the bast place we have stayed on our NZ trip so far. A 45 minute drive to some good walks near Mount Cook. The staff were all very friendly and we took advantage of the complementary cycles and stargazing, all part of an incredible experience

This is one of the most romantic, picturesque hotels we have ever been to! We arrived to the warmest welcome from the owner, who helped us with our bags himself. In addition to the spectacular scenery and views, the service is the definition of personal and warm. Every need is attended to with thoughtful answers to cater to your needs and interests. We soaked in the gorgeous bathtub overlooking lake Pulaski, rode bikes along the trail and hiked. They have not missed a thing. Truly beyond!

A lovely hotel right on Lake Pulaski. There aren’t many options here, so we stayed in Lake Tekapo another time (more options and more touristy). But for our first ‘lake visit’ it was truly beautiful. Shirt drive to Mount Cook too. Staff very friendly and the food was excellent. Nice short hike behind the hotel for a good view too!
