The small shop is surrounded by picturesque scenery, which is very enjoyable. The included dinner and breakfast are also quite exquisite and delicious, which is highly recommended. If I have the opportunity to go to Mt cook again, it will still be my first choice.

A wonderful place to stay. Exceptional in every way. Beautiful views, friendly staff, delicious food. So pleased we stayed here. Easy drive to Mount Cook village for walks and iceberg trips. Comfortable bright rooms with views from the terrace and bathroom too!

We stayed two nights here but could easily have stayed much longer. The views are stunning, the rooms are very comfortable and the bathroom has to have the best view from a shower I have ever had. The staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend the star gazing. Mike is a very informative guide through the galaxies and having never really seen the Milky Way to see two other galaxies as well as the space station and the moons of Jupiter was great. Aoraki is not far away and the scenery is stunning whichever way you turn. Food was superb. We had an early start and they provided us a delicious takeaway breakfast. Overall a really high quality place to stay if you like a small guest focussed venue in a stunning setting.

Wonderful intimate hotel with a friendly staff, great food, and one of the best locations and views ON THE PLANET. Highlight of an incredible New Zealand vacation. Ride bikes on trails, swim in the lake, enjoy a bottle of wine at sunset, and chat with other guests. Incredible!
