We were put up in this hotel for one night by BA due to our flight being delayed overnight. We only got a taster of the hotel but here are the stand out points for us: Good: The rooms were very modern and clean with a good sized balcony. No complaints with the rooms. Poor The all inclusive drink options were a joke. I’ve never seen such a reduced selection for people on all inclusive and the drinks were mot what was advertised. I had a Caipirinha and received a shot of alcohol with Fanta lemon in a poor quality plastic cup. This was at 11.15pm at night from the main bar (we were only people in there which says something) so not in plastic as being taken to the pool. Breakfast had a reasonable selection but the food was generally poor quality and the scrambled eggs were inedible. Summary Only a quick stay but if I had paid to stay here I would be very upset.

Our stay at Globales Maioris has been, without exaggeration, one of the most distressing and disappointing travel experiences we’ve ever endured. mostly definitely far worse than the 4-star standard it claims to meet. From the moment we arrived just before midnight on July 6th, the problems began. A water leak directly from a ceiling light in our assigned room (533) posed an immediate safety hazard. This led to a series of room changes — six in total — between 11:45 PM and 3:00 AM, involving cockroach infestations, broken air conditioning, and complete indifference from staff. One room even had a staff member casually kick a cockroach under the bed, which summed up the attitude perfectly. The following nights brought more chaos: A fire alarm was set off by unsupervised children while staff stood by passively. A violent domestic dispute unfolded, during which staff failed to protect guests or respond appropriately. The night shift was manned by a single 19-year-old who had no support in handling these situations. Basic drinking water was unavailable, and I was offered an already-opened bottle from behind the desk. We observed a large RAT in the snack bar, along with another family who also witnessed this, ants in our beds, and flies on food in the buffet — all of which were met with shrugs by staff. Worst of all, we were met not with apologies or concern, but aggression and threats. A staff member named Tolo yelled in our faces and threatened to have us removed from the hotel within 30 minutes — all for trying to de-escalate a dangerous situation. It took speaking directly with the hotel director for basic fairness to prevail, after which we received a generic apology. The pool cleanliness in the big pool was disgraceful. The colour was cloudy, it stunk. Even going in the pool for a matter of 2 mins you had random hair wrapped around your fingers🤮. In our entire 6 nights stay we did not see one person clean the pools. The problems were not isolated incidents but part of a pattern of neglect, poor management, and a total disregard for guest well-being. Despite raising concerns daily, we were forced to share a single room between four adults for our final nights, surrounded by ants and with no functioning air conditioning. The entire experience left us feeling unsafe, mistreated, and exhausted. Avoid this hotel at all costs — especially if you're expecting a peaceful, clean, or remotely safe holiday.

We arrived there at about 12.30 pm we checked in. Very pleasant young man on the reception, he put our wrist bands on. Told us we can go to the snack bar or restaurant at 1 pm for lunch. We collected our keys (cards) at 2 pm, and our rooms were spotless . Had a nice meal in the restaurant in the evening, plenty of choice, and excellent staff. Same the following. Morning at breakfast, plenty of choice. I'm not keen on the bacon streaky, but I've had a lot worse. The outside staff cleaned every day around the pools and the sunbeds if there weren't any towels on them. Four adults, one 16 years old and two under 11, we all enjoyed it, especially the two youngsters in the splash pool. The bus was a handy thing to have available. You need to book it the day before, but that's not much of a problem. All the staff we came across are very helpful and friendly. We shall definitely return, and my personal opinion is , If you can please some of the people half the time, and half the people some of the time you're doing well. Thanks to all of the staff there.

We stayed at Globales Maioris in July 2025 and had one of the worst travel experiences imaginable. On arrival, our first room had water leaking from a ceiling light — a serious safety hazard. What followed was six room changes due to cockroach infestations, broken air conditioning, ants in the bed, and overall filthy conditions. Staff were rude, unhelpful, and in some cases aggressive. One even threatened to have us removed from the hotel for reporting a violent altercation between other guests. The hotel felt completely unmanaged — rats in the snack bar, flies on food, no drinking water at night, and only one staff member on duty during emergencies. We ended up crammed into one room for safety and cleanliness. This place is not 4-star by any standard. It was distressing, unsanitary, and unacceptable. We are demanding compensation and a full investigation. Avoid at all costs.
