Puerto villamil è molto meno popolato rispetto a puerto Ayora e quindi anche l’offerta degli hotel è più limitata. The Wooden House è una piccola struttura che si trova tra il porto e il centro di Puerto Villamil è accogliente ma molto semplice, le camere sono essenziali e tanto piccole che si ha difficoltà a riporre lo zaino.

This was a very nice hotel set apart from the other hotels so it is quiet at night. Walking distance to the port and to town. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also tasty and of very good qualify. The only thing to be aware of is the mosquitos. We didn't have any problems on the other islands but had numerous bites on this island so make sure to bring repellent. Some of the rooms didn't have screens so mosquitos at night in the rooms were a problem. I recommend this hotel with that caveat.

We had a fantastic experience staying at The Wooden House Lodge during our visit to Isabela Island. Although we only stayed for one night, the hospitality left a lasting impression. The owner was incredibly helpful and caring, ensuring that all our needs were met and going above and beyond to make us feel at home. The lodge itself is charming, with a cozy atmosphere and all the comforts we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was convenient for exploring the island, and the staff provided excellent recommendations for activities and dining. We couldn’t be happier with our stay and highly recommend The Wooden House Lodge to anyone visiting Isabela Island. It’s the perfect place for a comfortable and welcoming experience!

Loveley stay on Isabela
Really nice place to stay, very comfortable and the staff are very friendly. The food was excellent. Good advice and booking for tours.
Location is a short walk from main centre, a few mins, but that makes it nice and quiet. Close to harbour so easy access from ferry.

Ein schönes gemütliches Hotel, sauber und mit bestem persönlichen Service durch die Besitzerin Dolka! Sie ist zauberhaft nett und macht das Hotel zu einem Zuhause. Die Chefköchin Julie zaubert fantastische Gerichte die jeden Gaumen erfreuen! Übernachten Sie auf Isabella? Dann unbedingt hier im Wooden House!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Wooden House. The rooms were large, comfortable and had good amenities. It is very close to the dock (with great snorkeling right at the dock!) and an easy bike ride or 15 minute walk into the main town. The staff were very nice and the food was wonderful. The entire place was very clean and had a welcoming and comforting atmosphere. If you visit Isabela Island this is a great place to stay!

Maravilloso hotel,tranquilo,familiar,acogedor.Excelencia en trato de su personal Adriana,July,Maria,Mercedes y Guillermo. Acogedor y calidez,me sentí en familia y en casa. Recomendación al 💯. Desayuno exquisito y almuerzos y cenas deliciosas. Habitaciones acordes con naturaleza,limpias y acogedoras. De regresar a Isabela,de fijo me volvería a hospedar ahí.

Oh my god. I ordered the fish and it was not cooked and smelled and tasted rancid. When I told them they said sorry do I WANT TO BUY something else. No Way. Stay away stay away. Hope I do not get sick. Also was suppose to have meal when we got there and we had to wait 50 minutes. Beware would give a negative number if offered
