Nous avons séjourné au Kukula lodge du 9 au 12 Février 2025 . Nous avons été accueillis par Sonia , la patronne, une personne charmante, à l'écoute de ses clients et de très bons conseils. Notre bungalow était en plein milieu de la jungle et particulièrement bien équipé et confortable. La literie est impeccable , moustiquaire de rigueur et ventilateur au plafond. Produits de toilette à disposition. Le restaurant est très agréable et les produits sont locaux , un vrai délice pour les papilles . Les personnes au service sont très sympas . Petite anecdote au passage pour éviter des frayeurs inutiles aux futurs occupants : le premier matin à 4h30 , nous avons été réveillés par un bruit effroyable , nous étions terrorisés . Il s'est avéré qu'il s'agissait d'un singe hurleur , totalement inoffensif qui avait élu domicile , pour la nuit , dans l'arbre au dessus du bungalow et dont le hurlement s'entend jusqu'à 5 kms de distance. Maintenant on en rigole ;-) Merci encore à Sonia et son équipe et Pura Vida

Hôtel familial très bien placé a proximité de la plage de chiquita et a 3 km de punta uva.les patrons et le personnel sont tmtrès aimables.le matin vous êtes réveillés par les singes hurleurs.l hotel étant situé bien en retrait de la route .nous avons eu de la chance de voir un paresseux et son petit installés sur un arbre devant la réception.petit déjeuner satisfaisant.

Un beau lodge, dans un joli parc tropical, la plage est à environ 350 mètres, il y a une petite piscine, la chambre est correct, la literie parfaite, chaque chambre à un hamac sur la terrasse, celle ci est à partager avec 2 autres chambres. Le gros plus est l'accueil de la propriétaire dès plus syntactique. Le petit moins nous avions réservé pour manger le soir. Validé par le personnel, à notre arrivé nous sommes informer que faut de client, il n'y aurait pas de repas. Bon ce n'est pas très grave, nous avions bien mangé à midi.

A wonderful jungle property with the sounds and sights of nature all around. The hosts were very attentive, the included breakfasts were excellent. Everything was very well maintained. An easy walk to a gorgeous natural clean beach. Everything about this unique property was excellent!

Très beau lodge intime, au milieu d'un beau jardin tropical. Très bon séjour de 3 nuits. Accueil excellent et service au top. Très bon petit-déjeuner avec des produits locaux, fruits, confitures. Réveil au son des singes hurleurs et des oiseaux. Proximité d'une petite plage sauvage. Parking pratique.

Vous cherchez un endroit au milieu de la jungle . C’est ici qu’il faut aller. Des chambres Spacieuses dans un environnement à couper le souffle. L’accueil est parfait Un petit déjeuner proposé avec des produits frais et locaux Un endroit sauvage et magique

The most bothersome thing about the hotel was that some kind of nuts kept falling on the roof at random intervals make a startlingly loud noise, often waking me up in the middle of the night. Also, for a "jungle setting" we saw zero wildlife. I would suggest that the owners make a map of the property outlining where things are and exactly which path to take to the beach instead of the simple generic verbal outlines we were given. Probably would have been a better experience had we had a car. Tuk Tuk rides were $8 each way for just a couple of kilometers, $10 to the center of Puerto Viejo. Uber was more expensive.
