Great location, 10 minutes walk from the (busy) Centre. We liked the place. The lady of the reception didn't speak English but she was there 24-7 for us, I don't know she sleeps. She gave us extra towels, she cooked, she did the laundry, etc. Rooms are decent size with good beds and very clean. The place can be a little busy in the morning, many people use the (outdoor) kitchen. we stayed 4 nights and we really liked the place for its price and location. Puerto Viejo is a prime tourist destinations for the beaches and therefore accommodation can be very expensive.

Not as described inreviews on Airbnb and Bookings. Insect dropping on bed, bad smell in kitchen, poor water pressure, minimal to no hot water, dirty lamps,mold on ceiling in bathroom, dirty footprint on rug outside shower,pretty far from center for a solo female traveler at night. Smell of burning plastic nearby.
