The Paramar Beachfront Boutique Hotel with Breakfast Included - Downtown Malecon

Great hotel and great location, the staff here is amazing and very helpful. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. They give you chairs and umbrella and towels for the beach. The pool is really cute too. We will definitely be back. The green juice and fruit bowl for the morning breakfast are delicious.

Staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and housekeeping did a wonderful job with daily cleaning. Balcony room with ocean views are relaxing in the morning but can be hot in the afternoon sun with no shade. The hotel is across the street from a good beach with a lifeguard during peak times. Handy that the Paramar offers beach umbrella and beach chairs plus a cooler upon request. Personally I found the beach chairs are not the most comfortable but they work. The kitchenette is handy for simple meals and the supermarket is block and half away. They do not supply coffee in the rooms but offer it in the lobby outside of breakfast hours. The coffee was not consistent in strength, one day strong another day weak. The breakfast included was made to order, liked the green juice and all my meals were very good. Never had to wait long to be seated in the garden patio for breakfast. The rooftop pool and upper seating area offer great views of the bay and a quiet spot for an evening drink. The pool service was great although we did not have any of the food items. Happy hour specials were a good bargain. The pool itself is nice for a dip, however my preference would be to have it colder (felt like a cool bath). Drinking water taps are located at the end of each hall. The room has a water jug to fill. Location is good for access to the Malecon. Enjoyed the live music at Captain Don’s around the corner. The bars out front play music into the early morning, not an issue for me as I always travel with ear plugs. After the music stops it’s a quiet location. The room doors will alarm if they are not latched which I feel is a good security feature. However, we could hear our neighbours doors slam and alarm either early morning or late night. Again ear plugs help as the doors are not sound proof. We did not hear any noise from our neighbours in the adjacent rooms.

Loved the penthouse and the staff were awesome, the building was clean and modern. Would absolutely stay again!

Fantastic service. Quick breakfast. Nicely located away from the hustle and bustle, but still close enough for a walk to Romantica.

If you want to be near everything PV, this little gem is your perfect spot. Breakfast menu is great. Rooftop pool is lovely and you can usually catch the Pirate Ship fireworks every evening. Oh, and a delicious mini ice was welcome and appreciated. Thanks for a great stay.
