I’ve been visiting Pv for years and I always stay in different hotels . This time I wanted something close to old town , close to the beach and locals . I must say this place is extraordinary. The atmosphere of this hotel is just so unique. The house itself it’s a piece of art . Very clean and super comfortable bed . I will definitely come back in the near future.

I absolutely loved my stay at Rivera del Rio for my 40th birthday vacation. I traveled solo from California and it was my first time visiting Puerto Vallarta. The staff (shoutout to Javier) were phenomenal. I arrived to my room (Green Room) and was greeted with a delicious cake, flowers, and even balloons! The room itself was lovely - the air conditioning and wi-fi both worked GREAT, the wardrobe/closet was huge and spacious for all my things, everything was very clean, the room was quiet, and I don't have any complaints at all. The breakfast in the AM was amazing, the pools looked fun (I did not get in the pools, but people were in them from time to time), and the rooftop was beautiful with a super cool bartender who can make a delicious drink out of anything. There are even two resident cats that I saw quite often who were two of the chillest cats I've ever met. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful with all of the colors, prints, and unique decor. I highly recommend Rivera del Rio to anyone looking to stay in Puerto Vallarta!

We stayed on the fifth floor. The room is called, “Electra.” It has a balcony. We were able to see part of the bay, mountains and river that was just in front of the hotel. The staff were great. Great bartender. Javier, front desk, went out of his way to help us with our room, restaurant choices, etc. He was very courteous. We had a shower. The water pressure and temperature were great. The air conditioner kept our room cool. Our bed was a “king.” It was comfortable. We used the pool on the 7th floor. The temperature, view and service were great. The location of the hotel was nice. Uber and taxis are accessible. We were also able to walk to nearby restaurants. Our stay was from July 8th to the 14th 2025.

Our stay was amazing. The best was very soft and the rooms were stunning. We had ample space and privacy despite being on the ground floor. The staff was helpful, and available via Whatsapp. Although, it would have been great to have the Whatsapp QR code somewhere around the front desk to get in contact. Overall we loved our stay and felt safe.

Absolutely wonderful! The room was beautiful, and the staff was beyond kind and welcoming. I stayed with some friends and we had an absolute blast! Breakfast was delicious and the views from the infinity pool on the last floor were movie-like! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I stayed at this hotel for a week and definitely recommend it. I stayed in the Medusa suite which featured doors on three sides and views of the mountains and the river and a peekaboo view of the ocean. The room was spectacular and I never had to use air conditioning because I just left all the doors open and felt the river breeze come through. The staff was lovely and engaging without being intrusive. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the shower was unbelievable (you could see the ocean from it) and while I didn’t use the pools, there are 3…each with its own “mood”. I walked to the ocean and swam every day. I wandered the streets in the neighborhood and felt connected to the nightlife but not in it. It was a perfect week.

This is a beautiful hotel in a quiet but centrally located neighborhood of Zona Romántica. About a 10 minute walk to the beach and La Malecón. Highly recommend the Silver room. Gorgeous balcony views. The rooftop pool and bar were also a plus. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolute BEST! Never fails! Every room is amazing. Constant comfort. Kind people working there, always to help. Right by town, so it’s perfect for us to find everything around everywhere! I will be back ASAP!! 100%!! I feel so thankful to have found this place.
