San Trópico Boutique Hotel & Peaceful Escape

This hotel was perfect for my working vacation. Close enough to things that they are easy to get to but just far enough away that I wasn’t distracted when I did have to work. We used the bikes to go pick up small groceries to cook and ate at the restaurant, at hotel and areas around. All easy to do Some staff didn’t speak much English but they al sways tried to communicate with us and when we needed to we waited for the people who have good English. When asking for bus directions they wrote things down and shows us pictures of bus stops on google maps. Anything that did come up like cold showers we asked and they were happy to come show us how to make it work. I would return for sure.

My wife and I stayed here on the last night in PVR, the proximity to the airport was the main reason for booking as well as taking a chance on the Wild Studio! The pictures are exactly what you get, its super different but cool. We didnt know what to expect staying here in the middle of the San Tropico court yard with an outdoor bathroom etc but it was honestly, great. The outdoor bathtub and shower were great, nice and warm, no issues at all, felt very private even though you could hear people around you, the plants etc hide you very well. It was super clean, the bed was very comfortable. Only suggestion I'd have is to find a way to seal the windows on the bathtub side so Geckos etc cant come in. Didnt experience that but my wife was worried about it. We also got to use the hotel ammenities, the pool was heated and was the perfect temperature! Clean and no harsh chemicals, was a relief from the all inclusive we were at prior to coming here. The front desk staff were very nice, hotel is in a great location, there is a restaurant but we didn't use it. We did Uber Eats for dinner and it was fast and delicious! We would recommend this to anyone looking for a stop over in a good area, walking distance to the marina and close to the airport.
