Marina Suites Gran Canaria

Warm friendly welcome on arrival with complimentary drinks. Tasty breakfast buffet, clean and tidy seating area with attentive staff members. Stunning poolside which feels extra special with views over the harbour and ocean! Rooms are impeccably decorated and tasteful seaside theme. However, the shower is poor and requires some modernisation, unfortunately it lets the rest of the bathroom down. Overall very happy guests, and would happily visit again in the future!

This was my first trip to Gran Canaria.Stayed at Marina Suites which was a great choice.The apartment was at 5th floor and had view over the Marina and partially sea view which was beautiful. Many thanks to Jorge from reception and to Nico and Alina from breakfast service,they were wonderful. It has a lovely infinity pool ,too bad that people reserved their sun-beds even though it wasn’t allowed and was too loud because of all the kids playing in the pool. There is a secluded adults only area that is quieter but it has 2 jacuzzi with only one shower working.Sun coming out to that side around midday so until then shaded. I had breakfast included,good selection but mostly same thing every day . Overall nice and clean great service.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Marina Suites 2 Adults 2 Teenagers and what can we say other than wow ! From the views to the quality of the room to the standard of food this hotel is stunning Positives: Champagne Arrival Offered a 20 euro a day upgrade to floor 9 room 901 the best views and Sun Lounger Infinty pool Gym Food has improved significantly Breakfast was lush and Smash Burgers were awesome Adult only area with Jacuzzi Chilled vibe throughout Such friendly staff Negatives: I would be struggling to fine one but I would say if your looking for a lively place to entertain kids with shows every night this wont be your place its all about the chilled classy vibe here We'll 100% be back again you cant really fault this hotel and Im amazed anyone has scored any negatives toward such an amazing hotel

The rooms are nice, clean, large and airy with everything you could need to self cater. The breakfast is good, with plenty of choice and the lunches, available from the pool bar are decent. The hotel is located in a quiet area but only 20 mins walk to the centre of town. It’s a great location if you want to use the ferry’s, or go on boat trips as it’s only 5 minutes walk to the marina. All the staff are pleasant and helpful. I’ve given the hotel a 4 and not a 5 for a few minor things. The pool area at the hotel is not big enough for the number of people. The beds are so close together you feel like sardines. We only went once for about 10 minutes and couldn’t cope with the crowding. There is an adults only area which is much quieter but there are only 2 Jacuzzi’s and no pool there. The lifts are small, hot and really slow. The bar in reception was never open when we were leaving for the evening, otherwise we would have stayed for a drink before going out. The hotel charges 4 Euros per day for the use of the safety deposit box, which I think is a little excessive. Overall we had a pleasant stay and none of the above spoilt it.

Recently returned from a fabulous stay in the Marina Suites. The accommodation is really spacious and clean. It is located in a really quiet area but not far from a number of nice restaurants. It’s about a 20 min walk into Puerto Rico or 5 euro in a taxi. The hotel itself is quiet enough. We were there for a red velvet theme night which was really enjoyable and a lot of work went into it. However there is was no other nightly entertainment and not much happening otherwise around the hotel int the evening. . This suited us but it may not suit everyone . The breakfast was good. We only ate once in the pool bar and the food was lovely . The other bar was never open when we were heading out in the evening but was open when we returned so I am not sure why that was. I don’t even know if they served food or not. There was no menu to be seen outside it. Overall I would highly recommend it as a place to stay and would return. One gripe I would have is they allow day trippers into the pool area. I really don’t know why when space is already limited . The pool is lovely but reasonably small for the size of the hotel and the sunbeds are in high demand . Adding day guests into the mix only adds to the numbers. Nonetheless I would recommend this as a place to stay. It was good value for money and we had a very pleasant stay
