Servatur Casablanca Suites & Spa - Adults Only

Oh my god avoid avoid ! Our stay at this hotel was okay but not great. Rooms are spacious, but we were under the impression (from both the photos and their own description) that every balcony had sun loungers and a small jacuzzi which we were looking forward to (one of the best qualities) but our balcony was very small with just a table outside. The bathroom is okay, nice from a distance but our shower was mouldy all around the edges with black pieces coming out of cracks and down the drain. They also have a lot of signs everywhere asking us to save water however their showers are working against them in that aspect as half the water comes out the shower head (as normal) and half comes spraying out of the side of the pipes so is completely wasted. Shower also takes forever to get hot and has to be turned completely to the hot side (anything else is cold). The cleaners did do an excellent job with cleaning the room every single day with new sheets. We checked out at 11:30am (checkout finishes at 12) but our flight was not until 8pm so we stayed around the pool for the day until our transfer had arrived. We were not allowed to have a late checkout as the hotel claimed to be fully booked which is totally fine. However, we were also not provided with somewhere private to shower or even change before our flight. Every hotel I have ever been to has offered either a spare room which was currently vacant, or even purposefully has a separate room simply for guests to use to shower and freshen up before their flight. Not only does this hotel not provide that, but their alternative was poor. They suggested we shower in the changing rooms in the gym and I thought this would be an okay alternative until I went in there. I used the gym quite regularly throughout my holiday so I knew which changing rooms they were referring to and where to find them. However, this changing room is tiny and completely open. There are two separate entrances - one from the spa side and one from the gym side which means anyone can walk in whenever they want (as there are also no locks). The door also opens to the entire gym meaning if somebody was to walk in when I was changing or showering the whole gym would be able to see in. The shower cubicle itself does also not have a lock on it and with the shower and toilet connected, if someone were to use the toilet whilst I used the shower they would be able to see in. Not only this, but the barrier is completely mouldy at the bottom meaning the toilet cubicle became flooded with shower water - the floor aswell. The changing room provides no shelf to put my clothes on and so getting changed without my clothes falling on the wet floor was a challenge. Would probably have better luck just showering at the poolside showers - if you can get them to work Pool is lovely (quite cold but is nice after sitting in the sun all day). There is a hot tub next to the pool but looks like it's been untouched for months and was closed whilst we were

We stayed at this hotel in 2024 and enjoyed it so much we booked it again for this summer and thankfully it didn’t disappoint! It is a fantastic, adult only hotel with lovely, friendly and accommodating staff! It’s a quiet hotel, no entertainment, loud music or games/activities - just what we needed a quiet place to relaxed and recharge. Location wise - Yes it’s true it set up in the hillside but there’s 183 steps (across the road from the hotel) down to the main shopping/restaurant area. It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the Mogán centre with higher end shops and restaurants. If you can’t face the steps on the way back there’s and abundance of taxis available at just €4 Rooms are well equipped - we had a superior suite with large balcony - ideal for us as it had sun beds and a whirlpool bath! Great bathroom with walk in shower, free safe and WiFi. Well equipped kitchen in the rooms and good size with comfortable beds and daily cleaning service. Definitely recommend the superior suites with large balcony - great views. Pool area quiet and plenty of sun beds available throughout the day so no early morning fight to put towels on one! The breakfasts were really good - excellent variety of hot & cold foods, omelettes made fresh to order, best hotel breakfast buffet we’ve had in Spanish hotels! We did have an initial issue upon checking into our room in that it hadn’t been made up however after visiting reception they immediately found us another room for our first night and ensured our room was ready by 9;45 next morning - it wasn’t ideal but the staff were so apologetic for their mistake and did everything they could to make it right - asking us what they could offer us as an apology - we were happy to accept some complimentary massages in the spa - very relaxing! We loved it again so much we are going to book again for next summer directly with the hotel and hopefully manage to book the same room 409!

Our first visit to Gran Canaria and to Puerto Rico. From when we arrived to when we left the stay was great. Staff are all so friendly especially the domestic staff who couldn't do enough to help. The hotel itself is clean and tidy and the room was great. There are some areas that need a lick of paint but it certainly did not detract from what is a great hotel. The room was spacious and clean with everything you could need. We had a superior suite high floor room that has a fantastic view over the whole of Puerto Rico. One of the best things was that the sun is later coming round to the rooms so no blazing sunlight to wake you up too early. When the door is open you can hear the sounds from the ***** but once closed was extremely quiet so a good nights sleep was had. The outdoor pool was kept clean on a daily basis by the staff, which for someone who works in a pool and deals with pool chemicals, was very pleasing to see. It can be quite a hike back up from thee ***** and bare in mind there are a lot of stairs but after the first couple of times, it gets easier. There are also plenty of cabs and for around 4 euro its not expensive. We loved this hotel and Puerto Rico so much we have already booked to return next year. only 337 days to go.

Well what can I say I’ve had a very pleasant stay here, thank you so much to all the staff here at Servatur Casablanca Suites and Spa in all departments, you’ve made my stay a one to remember I will be definitely back for sure in the future, I’m more than happy to give you good feedback. The food was lovely and loads of facilities for the adults with it been an adults only hotel, very relaxing and we was looked after through out our stay if they was a problem they were more than happy to assist us.

This hotel is in a great location, just 10mins walk downhill/steps to the top of the ***** and approx 25 walk down the road way to the beach. The rooms are very clean and spacious, with the advantage of fridge,hob,kettle, microwave and toaster. The balconies are huge with a great view overlooking Puerto Rico. You can hear the noise from the bars at night but it’s not too loud to keep you awake. The food is of a good standard, breakfast is buffet style but dinner is Al a Carte. You choose your main off the menu and each meal is cooked fresh to order. The staff are very accommodating to any tweaks and changes to the set meals which is good if you are veggie as most meals listed are meat dishes but they will happily change for you. Our only disappointment was the quality of the drinks, we ordered a sangria but what we got did not resemble this at all, such a shame as you’d expect a Spanish bar to be able to make them. The staff in the hotel are mainly friendly but some of the chefs can be a bit grumpy. Mogan (little Italy) is a must visit, we took the ferry which only cost €13 and took 30 mins but the resort is well worth it, very pretty little town and lovely beach.
