This was our first time at the Babalu as we normally stay at the riosol. We wasn’t sure what to expect but we had a great stay. The balcony was a good size with sun loungers and table and chairs. The shower was amazing! Beds were comfy. The only downside was that our room was only cleaned once in the 4 days that we stayed there and there was no washing up liquid or sponges so we could only rinse our cups and plates. This hasn’t stopped us from returning to this hotel though. It was definitely worth the money and a great location

The location was spectacular, the pools fascinating.
The only downside was the bed and chair, which were sunken in, making it hard to sleep.

The common areas were perfect, very clean and well-maintained. The room we stayed in was obviously old, but everything was very clean: the towels were spotless, the cloth smelled fresh, the bed linens were perfect, and even the cutting board looked brand new. The service at reception was also quite good. Highly recommended, we'll be back soon.

First I asked if they could give us a ground floor apartment because my husband can't walk very far and they gave us one on the 2nd floor, almost at the end of the corridor, far from the elevators. Then it got packed with people having their own party with loudspeakers so the music could be heard throughout the complex. No one said anything to them, just the lifeguard, but after a while they came back again. Then others brought a plate of fruit to the pool and everyone ate it, even though people were in the water. I've been here before but the stay was never so unpleasant.
