The room smells stuffy and seemed to be not ventillated for years. Lavatory though not dusty but looks like hasn’t been wiped snd being used for months and everything else in the bathroom.

The Deep Forest is a structure that tries to have hotel characteristics in a territory that hardly confuses Guest house with Hotel.
The staff is friendly and helpful but in my case there was a misunderstanding that damaged me regarding a trip.
The room is medium-small in size in the sense that often in the Philippines the rooms are small in size and the double bed is even smaller than 1 1/2 squares.
Minimal and old furnishings
Bathroom... here too there is the custom of a very small bathroom with the shower astride the toilet, a custom that I consider negative because at the end of a shower the whole "bathroom" is wet....
The hotel has a kitchen far from the dining area near the well-kept pool.
The quality of the cuisine is limited and the prices are average compared to local ones.
Negative note: in Puerto Princesa you move around in Tuc Tuc and near the hotel there are several. The hotel commissions some but the area around the hotel is always a collection of shrubs and trees with a series of small houses with tin roofs for km.
The journeys to the city which in any case has little to offer always last at least 20 to 30 minutes
This hotel is very suitable for staying without moving in complete calm for at least a week as I have seen from the type of guests

Looks like an old sanatorium. Everything looks kind of creepy. Not very welcoming staff. It's far from the center. Expensive to go there by tricycle. From the airport 350 pesos. Lots of mosquitoes. Expensive cafe.

Nice place to rest. I didn't feel completely well so we stayed here for 3 nights. This was a very good place for that because you don't necessarily have to leave because they have everything on site. The food was fine but not great. Slept wonderfully though! Nice bar by the pool. We had a room at the garden, this was very nice because we didn't have to sit around the pool area all the time.
