Horrible property! Read recent reviews! The road to the property is dirt and was flooded with 10-in deep puddles. Despite this the owner accused us of a no-show and refused to give our money back. You absolutely cannot make it to the property in a rental car. It's actually against your rental car rules to go down a road like us. Additionally the phone number listed with the property when you book it is disconnected. And also the address given for the property is to a five-star resort, from which you have to drive two kilometers down the dirt road.

Suite a un gros orage la veille la route pour accéder à ce logement est impraticable avec des trous de 40 cm au moins . La plage est soi disant privée mais une anglaise qui était sur place depuis 4 jours nous dit que c 'est impossible de s ' y baigner à moins d 'aller 600 metres plus loin ou la plage est pleine de déchets . Nous avons du laisser la voiture un kilometre avant et faire le reste à pied . Nous avons donc du trouver un autre logement et ' heures après il nous propose de nous chercher nous n ' allions surement pas attendre 4heures par 36 degrés et sur une plage similaire a une déchetterie et bien sur " jours après de retour en France aucune nouvelle ni du propriétaire ni de booking . De plus il y avait un serpent mort sur la route et l anglaise nous a dit qu ' il y a des crocodiles la nuit donc il fallait rester deux nuits dans une location sans réelle plage pleine de rochers . Nous ne sommes pas venu au Mexique pour çà

Une belle localisation sur la plage . Mais des sargasses dès le mois de février et beaucoup de cailloux dans la mer. Cet hôtel est défraîchi. Des lits horribles avec des ressorts qui vous rentrent dans le dos, des draps très fins où l'on voyait le matelas sans protection à travers. Des serviettes uniquement de plage non changées sur 3 jours. Une salle de bains des plus sommaires avec un filet d'eau froide salée. Une cuisine à partager sale et des ustensiles très abîmés comme les poêles etc...

Vous voilà très très loin de tout. Alors il est vrai que la route pour aller à la Casa Kayab est compliquée. La vielle de notre arrivée en plus il y avait eu un énorme orage, donc je ne vous cache pas que ça été compliqué, chemins boueux, pas de lumière, énormes flaques d'eau ... et étant en voiture de location ça été quelques sueurs. Une fois cette épreuve passé alors là vous arrivée au bout de la plage dans un écrin super nature. On met à disposition une cuisine commune, surtout pensez à faire des courses pour votre diner et petit déjeuner car vraiment rien autour. Vous disposez d'un étage dans le frigo et tous le nécessaire pour cuisiner et manger. La chambre très propre avec une bonne literie, assez simple mais suffisante. Attention que de l'eau froide à votre disposition. Les propriétaires des personnes juste adorables et souriants. C'est vraiment une parenthèse, c'est pour les amoureux de nature, de paisibilité et le matin offre un lever de soleil juste waou.

We booked Casa Kayab on a whim, after needing to leave another hotel early. To say its off the beaten path is an understatement, but in the best way possible. You will need a car (whether your own, or a taxi). The private road is paved until the last 1-2 km, which is unpaved and bumpy. Watch the bottom of your car, luckily we had full coverage on our rental. Casa Kayab is a set of two, two-story buildings holding no more than 6 rooms in total. The rooms are extremely basic, but if you're looking for peace and quiet, you are going to find it here. There are hammocks, fire pits and friendly cats/dogs. You can't hear anything but the ocean rolling in and out. The property has a communal kitchen, a fridge/bins where you can store food, a stove, filtered water and a communal bin. We didn't look to deeply when we booked, so we had to drive back into town for dinner. But the property recycles and composts. We arrived late in the day, had to leave for dinner and had to leave early the next morning for an activity. So we didn't really get to enjoy all of the peacefulness that Casa Kayab had to offer. However, when we come back to Cancun/Puerto Morelos, we will be staying here again.

Fantástica estadía, un poco difícil acceder, no olviden ir de día para mayor facilidad, bien vale la pena el empedrado, la playa del caribe es semi Virgen y bien cuidado por el magnífico anfitrión y dueño del proyecto. Muy cerca de ahi, encontrarás un arrecife oculto, si vas, ten mucho cuidado pues es “punta brava”, de manera que el oleaje y las piedras puede dificultar el acceso a la playa, pero la vista y la calma lo valen
