Palmar Beach Resort and Spa Riviera Maya - All Inclusive

I went to celebrate my birthday with my 1-year-old baby and my experience was TERRIBLE! To start, at check-in, they didn't offer me a welcome drink, and they made me wait to give me my room even though occupancy is low. They sent me to a building where the elevator didn't work. They knew I was arriving with a small child and didn't consider that when assigning the room. It was too tiring to go up and down stairs with the child and the stroller. The staff could see I was struggling to go up and down, and none of them offered to help me. It was very sad to see that. As for food, the service at the La Casona restaurant was very slow. It took over an hour to deliver breakfast. Your entire morning is wasted there. On the first day, the waiter forgot my order and it never arrived at the table. The hostess was the one who was more attentive than the waiter himself. At the pool area the same thing happened, not one waiter came to offer me drinks, they just walked right by the lounge chair and it was like I didn’t exist, they gave a lot of preference to foreigners, one of them looked me straight in the eyes, saw that I didn’t have a drink and didn’t come over to ask if I needed anything, he went to the foreigner behind me to offer him drinks. The bartenders at the pool bar, the little bar by the pool, and the karaoke bar are the worst!! They are discriminatory, if they don’t see that you are a foreigner, that you came in a group or that you are not giving dollars, they won’t serve you, they don’t even look at you, at the pool bar I was next to a group, I ordered a mojito and it was served to everyone except me!! You really can’t imagine how bad I felt for being discriminated against like that, I waited for over 20 minutes for them to serve me and they never gave me my mojito, and when I asked for it again you could see their annoyance, they serve you very reluctantly as if they were doing you a favor by serving you, afterwards, my son was crying and I asked a bartender at the pool bar if he had milk, and what he did was tease me and start making fun of the other bartenders!!! I just wanted a glass of milk for my son and I felt harassed by this disgusting action!!! On the lounge chair the waiter came by to collect the glasses and plates from the tourists except mine, I had to get up with my son in my hand to go put the plates down and I handed it directly to the waiter. The only one who saved my experience from all this was Edgar Eduardo from the Spanish Restaurant and the Hostess of La Casona, Edgar did not let my birthday go unnoticed and brought me a cupcake singing me "las mañanitas" with his colleagues, because not even the receptionist bothered to take into account the note that the travel agency had put about my birthday. When I checked out of the room I told the receptionist on the morning shift on August 3rd that I had a bad experience with my room since they had sent me to a building where the elevator did not work knowing that I was with a small child and literally his only r

A very nice experience. Everyone treated us extremely well. The only negative I could say is the elevator. It needs better maintenance.

Es un hotel muy tranquilo poca opciones de diversiones muy buenas habitaciones yo coji una habitacion swim up , no hay discoteca ni siquiera una cafetería que puedas ir a tomar cafe como es en otros hoteles de la misma categoría el pool bar no pueden estar niños no siquiera bañar e en el pool y cierra a las 10 pm ,si vas por un trago a las 9:30 el señor bartender se molesta y te pone mala cara ,lo mismo para el restaurante de comida caribeña que tiene un bar ,si estas sentado adentro del restaurante y sales a pedir un trago no quiere servirlo te dice q tienes q pedirlo dentro a l mesero y así sin embargo vi personas a las q si se lo servia ,es decepcionante los empleados en ese hotel ,el room service se demora muchisimo una hora en traerte algo aun con el hotel vacio practicamente y la mujer roxana q me respondia al telefono de room service era super despota no queria siquiera hablar contigo me decia mire el la guia del tv de la comida disponible y asi todo ,para mi el sevicio es muy malo todo es prohibido no se puede esto y aquello y pudiera poner mas cosas pero no tengo ganas de seguir ,no ire nunca mas .

No hay actividad recreativa ninguna , muchos trabajadores lo hacen lo mala gana por ejemplo a quien llamas.en servicio habitaciones Rosaura le haces preguntas y te dije mire usted mismo el.menu en el canal 51 q esta atiendo mas personas ( por cierto pasa tan rapido que ni puedes leer ) en el bar de la piscina de mayores, en la noche Alejandro cuando vas a buscarlo a veces no esta y cuando esta pides un trago lo hace de maña gana , recarcandote cierra dentro de una hora reglas del hotel , en el bar que esta junto a el restahoran manuel mediterraneo uno llega a comer le.pides.un trago, simplemente te dice que tienes q entrar y pedircelo al camarero a mi me.toco uno llamando emer que traia otra cosa y se demoraba muchisimo . Yo simplemente queria tomarme un trago fuera mientras mi fla.pedia el servicio y no pudo ser . No hay una musica ni suabe ni alta ni nada siemplemente no hay nada silencio total , muy aburrido todo .Mi habitacion aunque estaba lloviendo no nos pusieron.sombrilla tuvimos que mojarnos al salir a comer y el abastecimiento del minibar pedi que por favor en vez de un paquete de papita ( tenemos dos niño) pusieran dos y dicen No SON REGLAS DEL HOTEL ) Se imaginan dos niños y un paquete de papitas !!!! Horrible . Eso es entre la experiencia q tuvimos los 3 dias alguna de ellas .
