Nice place, clean, quiet, inexpensive, nice people. I had stayed at another hostel here in Puerto Maldonado that was twice as expensive and very noisy. Libélula is half the price (single room, en suite) and quiet. I have stayed here almost 2 weeks now

We had the Triple Bed (w A/C) room. It was clean, had tables and shelves and outlets in all the right places. The A/C and the fan kept the room comfortable even on extremely hot days. First floor access was great, although there are many rooms upstairs. The cold water dispensor in the little lobby area on the first floor kept us refreshed and hydrated. I'd definitely stay here again!

The property has a lot of construction projects going on. Our window could not lock and the lady at the desk made a mild attempt to fix it and then grew bored. I discovered afterwards that the locking mechanism was missing so can't lock. No offer to change rooms was made so we had to take our valuables with us when we went out. The AC was good and the TV was good. The breakfast was overpriced (15 soles pp) for what it was - bread, bananas, and coffee with no milk or even powder creamer. It wasn't a terrible stay, quite average, but am glad it was only one night.

The staff and property was excellent. The room rate value was excellent. The town of Puerto Maldanado was a great cultural experience in the Amazon jungle. I highly recommend this hotel.

El lugar semi rústico le da una extravagancia única al lugar. Desde que llegamos la atención personalizada y amabilidad nos han echo sentir como en casa. Estamos encantados y agradecidos por la confortabilidad durante nuestra estadía. Volveremos!
