Cielito Lindo is a collection of apartments (including studios) with fully equipped kitchen. The owners live on the premises, so they’re always close by to provide information or help you with anything you need. My studio was spacious with a big, comfortable bed.
While it’s about 25 minutes walk to the main commercial street and a bit longer to Zicatela Beach, it’s close to the quieter western beaches like Playa Carizzalillo, Playa Coral and beautiful Playa Bacocho. There’s also a commercial ***** close by (less than 5 minutes walk), with restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, travel agencies etc. There are many sights and activities in Puerto Escondido, although the heat and humidity was a bit too much for me.

Solo ocupé tres noches, la suite que me dieron la primera noche no tenía aire acondicionado, pedí cambio y la que me asignaron si tenía pero solo funcionó una noche y se descompuso y ante el calor muy fuerte que me orilló a cambiarme de hotel pata contar con ese vital servicio, además a la regadera no le salía más que muy poquita agua, en el área de cocina encontré y maté una cucaracha, entre otros detalles y motivos; tres dias despues de haber entregado la habitación me pretenden cobrar 350 pesos de una jabonera que to no rompí y luego, como solo les pagué lo de las tres noches, me califican como cliente fraudulento y me amenazan con boletinarme ante la Asociación Hotelera, en fin, muy desagradable experiencia

Una habitación amplia y bien equipada, cama king, cocina con todo lo necesario (Refrigerador, estufa de inversión, cafetera, licuadora, cucharas, vasos, etc.), en una calle solitaria paralela al Blvd Juárez en el sector Rinconada, el lugar no tiene la formalidad de un hotel, más bien de cuartos en renta, te reciben, te dan las llaves de acceso y listo, ya el resto vas a tu aire. A mi me encantó, aunque reconozco que hace falta el trato personal y sentir qué hay alguien por ahí a quien acudir. Lo mejor de la habitación es el balcón con hamaca, ahhhh ya después de la puesta de Sol es verdaderamente placentero descansar ahí. Hay pantalla de tv 32’ con Netflix. Todo se compensa y equilibra con el fabuloso precio.
