Plus Fariones Suite Hotel

This is beautifully appointed , modern , light and airy hotel in a prime beachfront location between the tacky end of the ***** and the old town. We are currently staying in a spacious fourth floor suite with lovely views over the pool and beach. The suite has a kettle and microwave but no tea or coffee ingredients or cutlery . What’s the point? There is a decent breakfast selection unless you like a cooked breakfast. The food is barely warm. I have politely mentioned this on two occasions to the restaurant manager. On the first, he grunted, shrugged his shoulders and walked in the opposite direction. On the second, he briefly tapped the beans dish with his finger and nodded his satisfaction. No sign of a food thermometer. The hotel advises that reservation of sunbeds is prohibited when, in fact, it is actively encouraged. When I pointed the surfeit of towels versus people he nodded and smiled “reserved “ before pointing us in the direction of less desirable locations. The pool bar is pleasant but there is a tendency for bar staff to go missing. This isn’t the worse experience we’ve ever had but would we return? Only at the invitation of the management to inspect the required improvements.

We had an amazing time here 9th to 16th February 2025. Hotel is so modern, staff are super friendly, food great and cleaning excellent. So close to the beach and amenities. Could not fault it, amazing holiday. I am only writing a review because I always review and filter before I go on holidays to check it is suitable for a baby. I heard other guests the week we were there ask staff why the pool was cold and the staff reply that it was NOT heated. The pool is advertised as heated in winter and when we raised this we were told via email it had been checked and was heated at 25-30 degrees. Which is different information to what staff at the hotel said. This is certainly not what we felt and others. If anyone sees this review and had the same issue as us then maybe the hotel will believe more than one person and the issue will be rectified as I don't want other parents disappointed that the pool in winter feels cold.

Amazing Hotel should be 5 star Amazing hotel, so much space, room and service was excellent. Would definitely recommend and also go back again. Brill location as well.

From start to finish this was a wonderful holiday from checking in to checking out. Glass of wine from staff on check in,in a hotel in a wonderful location and spotlessly clean. Food was very nice with plenty to choose from (evening meal) and breakfast well catered for also (only gripe would be certain foods could be hotter). Staff were always polite and helpful especially Grace in restaurant and John the pool attendant.

We are currently still here but I feel confident enough to write my review already..... Check in was a good experience, we were offered cold drinks while filling out our details. We were given interconnecting rooms 118 & 119, these were perfect for us. They are seconds from the pool and a door to the beach. Each room had a separate bedroom and a spacious living area with a small kitchen. We brought our own mugs and cutlery as we knew utensils were sparse. The hotel is at the far end of the resort so easy access to both the old and new towns. We barely needed to walk more than 500m from the hotel to satisfy our dining and drinking needs. We are B&B so can only comment on breakfast. There is plenty to satisfy everyone. Obviously bacon and sausages are going to local ingredients but we have been more than happy. There is an omelette chef on hand too. It is a very quiet and sedated hotel so no noisy daytime activities, bear this in mind if you're a young family. I'm 51 and I'm one of the youngest clients! That however suits us as my girls only need a swimming pool. The gym is small but has everything you need for a great workout. You need to get a key from reception though which is a bit of a pain. The hotel is entered from the street however this is on the third level of five. We are on level one which is also where you find the restaurant, gym and spa. If you want direct access to the pool then request level one. We are having an amazing holiday and have only positive things to say about the hotel and staff. Come with an open mind and you will have an amazing experience.

This is my second time staying here. Rooms are nice but I am not a fan of the bedroom location of the suites as it’s back to back with the hallway so you hear all the late night people and early risers. The pool service is poor. The place could be empty and you still have to sit there for a long time waiting for this one guy ‘Santi’ to take your order. He is not the friendliest. Maybe it’s just that I live in NYC and expect quicker service but I can’t help getting frustrated. For a finish I went for food at Finnegans and that was great, lovely food with proper size pints of beer for half the price and hassle.
