Plus Fariones Suite Hotel

This Hotel has the best location , to wake up to .. but sadly the rest didnt meet up to the standard I was expecting. Firstly the room , strange lay out, felt like I was sleeping in a box , its nice to wake up from your bed and see the sea but the rooms are not planned out like that . a little disappointing. I couldn't wait to have our meals , breakfast etc , but what a let down . The food was so bland , and believe me Im not a fussy eater. We started to feel low about going to the restaurant because of the food and the way it is set up. In the morning the tea is poured into a small tea pot , but nowhere for your Milk, so you had to fill another pot for your Milk , which was nowhere near the tea. That was just annoying. The food was not very nice at all . The bacon was transparent , just a piece of oblong fat .. awful, the eggs where ok , the sausage not to my liking, so I ate cereal and fruit. The evening meal.. what can I say , so bland , and why put fried onions on top of cauliflower ?? the chips where ok . The carbonara had mashed potato on top ! ?? I saw some turkey sliced so thought I would try that , it had no taste at all .. I thought to myself ok Ill have rice pudding , surely that cant go wrong ?? It was watery and tasted of perfume. really weird. The scrambled eggs where also full of water .. It was just awful we ended up eating out 3 times costing more to the holiday . In the room there is a microwave , but no plates or cutlery ?? there was a kettle and 2 cups . The fridge door was hanging off , we did tell them to come and screw it back on .. and they did . The housekeeper never washed the cups we left . In the evening they put away the coffee machines so you cant get yourself a coffee , you would have to buy it . We went to the bar around 10.35pm we asked for a cappuccino, he said the machine was broken , yet in the morning it was working , we just felt he didn't want to bother as it was late . One evening I was told some staff didn't turn up for work so one of the waitresses Fernanda was rushing round the place, doing the job of 3 people , I gave her 10 euros as a tip as I could see she was stressing out. Getting back to the food , even the ice cream was melting , it wasnt like ice cream should be . In the morning I thought I would just have toast , but again the jams etc where nowhere near the bread , and had to spoon it on the plate, then the butters where on a different side ?? all strange , they need to look at this . Getting back to the location its the best , but sadly the food isn't good at all , one guy said to me " who on earth would put fried onions on top of the cauliflower , even the peas where hard as they had been burnt. I tried the goulash one night it was just full of fat hardly any meat , couldnt eat it . The lasagne was tastless. We felt miserable going down for dinner at times, as we knew we wouldn't like it , believe me we tried !! had 3 great meals

First time staying at Plus Fariones. Location couldn’t be better. Service was fantastic, staff were all very attentive and friendly and amenities were fabulous. We had a select suite which also meant access to the solarium and lounge (with complimentary drinks and snacks) and separate area in the dining room. Well worth it. We’ve always loved PDC, and have now found our regular hotel.

You will NOT be disappointed in this hotel we booked select but to be honest the hotel is so good we really didn't use the services that come with it except the rooftop solarium and that was probably the reason we booked it so we would be guaranteed a sun bed but there were plenty sunbeds without having to get up a stupid o'clock, we were half board and that would be my only criticism the food in the evening was pretty boring, but that is a personal choice, staff all fabulous
