The second time staying here but this time the complex has had a big refurb. Rooms... They are excellent with newly fitted kitchens and bathrooms. The other nice touch is the added usb connectors in the plug sockets taking the hassle out of packing loads of plug adapters. Also has separate aircon for the bedroom and lounge so no longer having to keep the bedroom door open to blast the cool air from the lounge. Pool... The pool has also had a refurb, the large pool has been made slightly shallower. I'm 5ft 5 and can stand at the deepest part with the water up to my chin. Great for passing balls or dive sticks back and forth without having to try and throw whilst treading water! Pool area is cleaned daily and there are plenty of sunbeds. Be warned... if you put towels on a sunbed then disappear the staff come round at 10.15 and remove all towels off discarded beds. Sounds harsh but it isn't. I've watched people put towels on then go off on a day trip only to reappear later in the afternoon and take them back off again. This act of selfishness stopped after the first day of staff removing towels. Bar and food... Bar is well equipped with the usual beers, wines and spirits and happy hour is at 5 o'clock (2 for 1). This is welcomed by most as my only complaint is outside of happy hour a large beer is around €4.50 making this a lot more expensive than the bars down the sea front. Food portions are massive! At lunch time me and the wife would get a club sandwich to share and that filled us! Usual bar food like hotdogs, burgers, toasties etc also available. They also do breakfasts up the 12pm. Food is very reasonably priced. Cleanliness.... Can not fault it, rooms cleaned every other day with fresh towels and restock of bathroom items The surrounding areas are cleaned daily (swept and mopped) the place is super clean. Staff... Everyone one is so friendly, the cleaners pass in the morning and say good morning, the maintenance team pass and say good morning in fact anyone who works here will always pass and say good morning or good afternoon! You really are made to feel very welcome. To show how on the ball the staff are... to lock our door when leaving we held the door closed and tapped the card on, pulled the handle down then up and the door locked. We thought this was normal....2 days into our holiday one of the maintenance team came over to where we were at the pool side and said 'your door is fixed' the door doesn't need the card tapping on when leaving it can just be closed and it locks automatically. As mentioned we didn't have a clue but the cleaner had reported it... she left the room at 11.00 and the door was fixed by 11.15! Says a lot about the pride the staff have of the complex. Conclusion.... Another excellent stay at Montana Club, thank you to every member of staff for making us feel welcome. We will see you all when we return.

We travelled as a family of four and spent ten days at this complex. Despite. many positive aspects to our holida, we feel it necessary to highlight our disappointment in the lack of support for my disabled husband. . My husband is a full above the knee amputee, age 68, who travelled using crutches to aid his walking. Despite the wonderful bar staff it quickly became apparent as to the rudeness and unprofessionalism of the complex manager and owner. When approached to ask about Keeping on our room for some extra time to allow my husband to shower etc ( we asked this three days before the end of our holiday) the manager was very quick to tell us that the complex was full despite us offering the 90 euros that other people were being allowed to do, We vacated the room at 11am as per the check out time and had to ask the manager to put a chair in the communal shower to enable my husband to shower safely. All of this was very stressful in such intense heat and we felt frustrated as knew other people still has the luxury of using their showers etc in their apartments. When speaking with the manager we were also shocked at the way in which we were spoken to despite our pleas only being due to the fact that my husband was struggling physically. In fact, the hotel manager said “we do not have that” when questioned about their disability policy. She raised her voice in an angry manner in front of our 13 year old daughter. The owner also raised his voice when my husband expressed his disappointment at the lack of support and understanding of our situation. We have since found out (since coming home) that our room only became occupied that evening at 11.30pm! Twelve hours after we had vacated it! Surely, therefore, something could have been put in place to allow us to have the use of our apartment until around 4pm to support my husband and his needs. Ignorance and lack of awareness towards disabled people is how they made us feel. Sadly! All of this will prevent us from returning to this hotel anytime in the future. Sadly.

Fabulous self-catering apartments modern and clean. Nice bar for food and drinks. Friendly helpful staff and an excellent location from all the shops and restaurants on the *****. Only down side for me was the other selfish guests who put towels on sunbeds at 7.30am and never came to use them all day. I've never understood this behaviour. So if you want a sunbed you've got to be up very early. Apart from this I would highly recommend.

we have been returning for years and this time was as fabulous as always. staff are so friendly food lovely great location. looking forward to returning next month.
