The room was excellent, beds very good size and comfortable. However the staff were a bit pushy towards the end of the stay. 3 staff attempting to come into the room before the check out was quite unpleasant. Other than that which I’m sure doesn’t happen to everyone the stay was excellent

Rooms very spacious very clean apart from some men’s undies at the back of the wardrobe on the bottom shelf. So must have been people before left them and they weren’t spotted we just left them. €3 a day for safe no problem. Pool was nice but we didn’t go in some put feet in and said it’s feeezing. We were only there for a long weekend for a birthday 10 of us. Staff were very nice. Not good for people with mobility issues. Bar prices were good. We had breakfast once €15 buffet was ok. Good location. I would recommend but remember it’s on cardiac hill I was breathless when I got up to reception but I’m not the fittest person but I managed my hubby was fine.

The hotel is ideal for us. We have stayed here 3 times in last 2 years and will return. We want a good quality self catering apartment, near to the beach and restaurants, with a good pool in a quiet well run hotel. Kontiki ticks all the boxes. It also has an excellent solarium and there are plenty of good quality sunbeds. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The whole place is always clean and tidy. Wi-Fi is free and works well. The short walk (3 mins) to and from the beach & restaurants is via a short but steep hill if you take the direction route. Not a problem for us. Also, if you use a coach transfer you will be dropped off about 200 yards from the hotel because of access issues. Again, not a problem for us. Highly recommended.

Das Bett ist sehr bequem und gemütlich .Das Zimmer 1116 liegt oben am Pool leider wird dieser morgens um 7.30 auf Hochglanz gebracht mit einem Hochdruckreiniger was einen wach macht .Auf Nachfrage ob das später geht wird man zurecht gewiesen das ist normal in diesem Hotel ! Schön fürs Hotel schlecht für die Geste! Nun ich schlafe gerne bis 8.00h aus

Returned after a lovely stay this time las year. And what a difference a year makes. We were put in room 3211 and as soon as we saw that it was located right on the street with loads of bins for recycling glass and cardboard, we went back to reception and asked if we could move rooms, but our request was refused and it was made very clear to must that the chance of swapping rooms was not going to happen. So we spent a week of being woken up every night with containers of glass bottled being tipped into the glass bin, the cardboard machine starting up to crush the boxes and lorries pulling up at all times to remove and replace the recycling bins. Absolute nightmare. We will not return. And I suggest you make it quite clear that you do not want room 3211 if you book to stay here.

L'hôtel est vraiment bien situé près des plages et de la promenade (il y a une petite côte à descendre et monter), la vue est superbe. Places de parking tout autour. Jolie piscine, néanmoins les gens réservent les transats à la première heure, sans se soucier des autres, c'est dommage de ne pas faire appliquer le règlement. Notre chambre était parfaite, spacieuse avec une chambre séparée (lit King size, grand placard), une salle de bains avec douche à l'italienne. La kitchenette est vraiment un avantage et nous avions la terrasse avec un aperçu mer. Le personnel est vraiment sympathique et compétent, nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet hôtel.

A beautiful, comfortable and exceptionally clean and well presented hotel. The staff are so friendly and the rooms are really lovely. The outside space is fantastic, the pool is amazing and so clean. The sun deck overlooks the sea and has what must be one of the best views in Puerto del Carmen. We will definitely be back.
