Hotel Floresta

Our stay was good, but I don’t think we would return. The dining experience was a bit of let down. Accommodation was spacious, with lovely views. We were staying in far end of the complex. When we arrived at night, we were given a map to find our accommodation, which was fun. The hotel has two salt pools and 2 fresh water pools. They were good , but every time we went for a swim we could not find any free sun loungers. But then we had two sun beds on the balcony. Food was tasty. Not a big selection. And at dinner time we had to queue at hot counter for 10 to 15 minutes like in a school canteen. We have been in other hotels in past , but this was quite a unique experience. Hotel is nicely located near a supermarket and a beach . Sun beds were 17.5 euros for 3 people. Clear sea. Nice local restaurants with reasonably priced food. As someone said, there were cockroaches. We played find a cockroach game with my other half as he loves wildlife . They are common in all hot countries. I would recommend this hotel for the location and the size of rooms. Not for the dining experience.

This was my 9th visit to Floresta and our whole familys 6th annual summer holiday! Just amazing as usual, the place is spotless, food is lovely, yes there were queues on a night but not having to wait to long and to avoid just go down a tad earlier about 6.45 so you miss peak time which we found was about 7.15, plenty of drinks to choose from, entertainment was lovely, day time activities with johan ( apologies if spelt wrong) brilliant, housekeeping was just superb, check in was easy, lovely reception staff, but the overall stars have to be the AMAZING staff in the restaurant and bar! Honestly the most lovely, polite, funny people a absolute credit to the hotel! Booking for 2026 without any doubt! Thanks Floresta

We had a seven day all inclusive holiday returning three days ago. On arrival booking in process was quick and painless, all the apartments are up the ramp based around the pool / pool bar. No offer to help with the cases. If you have mobility issues you may want to see the pictures attached, with saying that thier were a few people in wheelchairs that appeared to get round quite freely. The apartment is quite spacious and clean; it was serviced daily. Pool area with lots of lounges, but you get them sad people who stick the towels in the early hours. The hotel staff tour the lounges from 9:00 onwards with no persons on them the hotel will remove all their stuff neatly and place them on the wall nearby. The bar area at times seems undermanned and having to wait to be served, but with that said the staff work hard and always greeted with a smile. In the bar area there is a coffee machine and chilly water on tap, the problem is you can’t get to them before the bar opens meaning you have to walk down the ramp and back to sit and chill, believe this equipment should be placed in the area where the table and chairs are. Lastly the restaurant and according to a sign on the wall had maximum capacity of 300. This was bordering on being the works canteen, table and chairs too close together and you having to navigate around other guest already eating. The salad bar area had lots of variety and choice. The hot food section was quite a small area; this did not work for me and the choices were limited. The location is very close to shops bars and restaurants along with the beach across the road. Would I stay again: yes, but would do self catering as I did eat out most of the time.

Just home from 2 weeks at the floresta and had an amazing time. Rooms are clean location is amazing and staff are brilliant! Johan and Tyler brought a lot of energy this year! Need some tlc around the hotel certain areas around the pool the tiles are lifting and in our bathroom the paint was peeling off the walls but didn't affect us just a bit of feedback. Need more staff in the bar or self serve for the soft drinks and beer as the queue this year was 20mins for a drink! Can't wait to come back next year!

Returned 7/8/2025, stayed for 11 nights, two adults and our 5yr old daughter. Hotel is really good, we stayed in a 1 bed apartment with pool view. Very spacious, cleaned daily, no complaints. The food was pretty good all round, small queues if you got there at the wrong time but nothing to moan about. I’ve seen reviews regarding sunbed reserving but again nothing to get too upset about, there are plenty of beds for everyone. I found all the staff I spoke to very helpful especially the kids entertainment team who were excellent with my daughter. Hotel grounds are immaculate and we loved the parakeets which came to say hello. Spar across the road was very handy too. Location is great, 5 euros by taxi into central PDC but you can walk it pretty easily and there are several bars/restaurants and shops directly opposite the hotel. Would recommend the walk along towards Matagorda to watch the aeroplanes come in to land and take off. Overall a great stay, would definitely recommend and will probably return.

Returned home 13/08/25 from 10 nights as a family of 15! Really good good hotel. Very clean, rooms cleaned every day. Breakfast and bit repetitive but all other meals had lots of choices. They could do with another toaster at breakfast time. 🤣🤣 Great location for local bars and restaurants inc Marcos on the corner and the Guinness tavern on the front. €5 in taxi to puerto del carmen for a more lively night out. We will definitely look to return.
