Very disappointed overall with this accommodation and will never return or recommend. Checkin very slow and witnessed one day a member of staff leaving halfway through checking in guests whilst the next member of staff was still parking her car. Room was filthy - hairs on floor, urine on floor behind toilet, sheet on bed in living area was sticky (looked like a sweet had been stuck to it). Bed in living area not suitable for an adult - squeaked every time moved and only sheet and thin blanket provided. Very dated rooms - floor tiles cracked, bathroom tiles filled in numerous places where previous items had been fixed to walls, mouldy grout. Towels only changed three times in a week (once after complaining, told they would only be changed if left on floor which they were but still not changed), bedding never changed at all. Staff on reception not friendly or welcoming at all - one guest was complaining about insects in her room (saw videos of this and was awful) the receptionist was rude and laughing at her saying it wasn't their fault - the woman was in tears. We had friends staying in the block facing the big pool and you would have thought they were staying in totally different accommodation to ours as their room has obviously been updated and was amazing. Very disappointed with this accommodation overall and logged this with Jet2 rep in resort and will be making formal complaint.

We arrived as a group of 9 to this hotel on the 28th Dec - 4th January. Having spent £1300 each for the week self catering here we expected at least clean and decent accommodation. Room: Superior room but there was nothing superior about it. Dirty. Filthy. Disgusting. When we arrived there were hairs all over the floor along with stains including around the toilet. Dirt and mould all over and a stain on the sofa bed. We got the cleaners in straight away and when they left we checked again and there was still hairs all over. The rooms are awful. The bed creaked horrendously with every moment and the sofa bed was freezing as all you were given was a sheet and little blanket. Onto the cleaners - never once seen in 7 days they came in once to change towels and ‘make the bed’ which was just pulling the sheet back over. We repeatedly had to go to reception to ask for new towels. Reception staff / the most disgusting rude staff I have ever come across in my life no smile or even a hello and just look like they can’t be bothered to be there or to help the guests - horrendous especially the miserable man. Another guest was here complaining the same time and we seen her videos and photos of the state of her room which was covered in cockroaches and ants and the hotel did not move her or help her at all and she was so upset. Disgusting behaviour when people have paid to come and have a nice relaxing holiday! I could go on and on about the negatives but tbh I just want to forget I ever stayed at this awful hotel. The only positive was the location. Would NEVER recommend this to anyone.

We visited the hotel over for 5 nights over the Christmas / New year period. We had a 1 bed apartment with 2 adults and 2 young children. We had read many of the reviews before booking so had some idea of what to expect. The hotel is very basic but reasonably priced for what it was at the time of year especially vs other properties. Pros Location- easily accessible to the main ***** of bars / restaurants and the beach. Only 10-15 min transfer by taxi from the airport. Rooms - quite spacious with 2 good sized balconies and sea views. Kitchen as a large fridge and freezer with some very basic cooking facilities. Pool areas - well maintained and clean. Pool snack bar has a good selection of food and very reasonably priced. Pools are a good size and we found no issue with getting sunbeds even in the middle of the day. One pool is quieter than the other which mainly has families / young children. WiFi - easily accessible and worked well throughout our stay. Staff - all staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. Cons Rooms & cleanliness - the hotel is very very dated. The decor needs an update and many of the items / furniture in the room is way overdue a refresh. The sofa bed creaked every time you rolled over! only a small sheet and blanket was given for the sofa bed so we spent the first night freezing. The room itself was at best surface level clean. There was mould in the shower, dust and dirt everywhere even when we arrived. The room is in need of a serious deep clean. We only had 1 visit from the cleaning team during our 5 night stay. They made 1 bed and some attempts to sweep the floor. I had to use a small dust pan and brush daily to clean the floors and also empty our bins daily. Tv in the room doesn’t have any English channels. There was air con / heat which barely worked and the fan in the bedroom was unbelievably noisey. Fine as we were there in winter but I wouldn’t want to be in the room in the middle of summer. Noise - although we had no noise from near by roads and bars. We did have significant noise from other guests in the middle of the night. Shouting, arguing and banging up the mental staircases. Pools - the snack bar pool is not heated. I am not sure how the hotel can get away with stating it is! The pool is freezing cold. We didn’t go in the second pool but no one was in it so I can only imagine how cold the water was. For us the cons significantly outweighed the pros and we couldn’t return. It’s a shame as the hotel with some tlc has the potential to be great!

This is our first stay at these apartments. First impressions very good and great location. We were allocated room 205 which was a superior one bedroom apartment overlooking the pool on the 2nd floor. First impressions were good. Bedroom with twin beds pushed together with plenty of storage and safe. Large bathroom with twin sinks and walk in shower. Kitchen area with dinning table and fridge freezer. Open plan living area with double seat and TV with patio doors to large balcony area. Two pool areas. Top pool didn’t seem to be used as much as one near our apartment. People found it necessary still to get up early to save sun beds. Hate this. Gate at back just across road to shopping centre. 5 minute walk to old town. All in all we would return as based on location alone in an ideal area that suits us. Positives:- Location Price Views Large apartment. Great Balcony area. House keeping attended regular Negatives:- Could be issue for someone with mobility problems. Did find one cockroach in apartment that was dead. Very basic and slightly tired looking. In busier times may be issues getting sun beds. Sun bed savers leave towels for ages.

The positives: the view from the hotel was great: the kitchen area great for self-catering, the 2 pools were lovely with sunbed availability not an issue: close to the main drag; close to Lidl/Mercado, the church and harbour: felt very safe The negatives: our room 300 something was shabby, the shower needed ripping out and reinstalling, cleaners change towels and that’s it (I suspect the hotel pays really badly because the cleaning staff were lovely), no cleaning, no sweeping and didn’t even change the hair/body wash (we bought our own in the supermarket) Puerto del Carmen: lovely beaches, endless ‘Irish’ bars: nice walk along the promenade to the airport, other than it’s really borrrrrrring Made my trip to Lanzarote a real Lanazanote

Nice location. Not too far from everything. Room is basic but has everything you need for a no frills stay. Clean and tidy. We were lucky to get a corner apartment with a large veranda. Basic apartment but was clean and staff were very friendly. I would go back without hesitation.
