We came here for 5 nights at the start of Feb for some winter sun. Firstly, slightly disappointed at how dated the rooms were for self catering. There were a lot of dirty marks on the bedding, I could tell it was fresh but stained fron previous guests. Room wasn't cleaned once, instead a guy cane every 2 days to empty the bin. The reception staff all extremely rude apart from a woman who worked in the evenings. We stayed in room A1 which was on the corner and a complete suntrap. We didn't actually visit the pool as due to the nice breeze we never overheated. Shame we couldn't get a late checkout for a 10pm flight & I was surprised when we returned for our suitcases they didn't check we had even been staying there & just gave us the key. Apartments are in a good location, there is a slight hill to the main *****. Supermarket was a 5 minute walk which was handy. Wouldn't return as we generally prefer half board. Tips- take a hairdryer as you have to hire from reception, take extra towels as the ones they leave you are tiny & don't dry you. It was quite cold in the evening so take some warmer clothes if going in the next few weeks.

Came here to relax for a week and this place is so chilled. Rooms are basic, but very clean and cozy. Pool is a great size, the poolside snack bar is excellent, very nice food and a very decent price. Shop straight across the road for basics, main ***** 10 mins walk, already looking to come back Plaza Azul next February.

Last day today and can honestly say this place is a little gem there is a little hill but it's not too much of an issue yes people do get up early and put towels on pool beds but there's plenty of them apartments cater for everything you need but I would suggest larger bath towels it's in a very good spot for the ***** but not too close that you are kept awake at night wouldn't hesitate to return here

Room was clean but bath was extremely stained and looked like a bath mat had been left to rot and disintegrate not a good look. Our room was always in the shade no sunshine what so ever. The towel and sunbeds situation is a joke we are early risers and not once did we get a sunbed on the sunny side of the pool and this was low season. There is definitely not enough beds for the amount of appartments. The hotel needs to be stricter with towels on the beds as a lot were not even used throughout the day. On the plus side we had some lovely days on the beach not what we planned but the beach is lolvey. The only downside is we planned to spend more time in the hotel as we have walking difficulties and knew we were up a hill the hill is not quite cardiac hill but it's on par if you have health problems. The reception were freindly and helpful and could not fault the reception. Although having a tv is not priority on holiday we did pay a returnable deposit for the tv and was impressed itv bbc and we could sign into the likes of Netflix ect with a excellent connection, the WiFi in the room was very good. Not sure I would book this hotel again.
