If you want to relive the 1908s, here is your chance. Better yet, if you have a thing for “Love Boat” décor, you really should not miss this hotel. Overall, this is a good option for families. Lots of pool and beach space, good size rooms, free and easy parking, and clean. Not very crowded. Good hot water and water pressure. Close to a variety of nearby restaurants. A weekly local market pops up on the hotel property and the guy selling empanadas is not to be missed! A truly impressive amount of furniture on our room's balcony. No, really, the hotel should have won an award for the number of items they were able to fit on the balcony. HOWEVER, hotel restaurant was overpriced which is likely why it was empty. Breakfast was included but I had to sit down at a table to have my (included) coffee or I had to pay for it. This seemed like a strange rule that didn't have a real reason. Ultimately we decided not to even have the included breakfast. Drinks at the hotel hot tub bar were awful and service was just plain terrible. But this I suppose is the price to pay for being able to say you were at a 1980s hot tub bar. If you can channel the 80s vibe, and you have kids, this place is ok. If you want to channel an even older vibe, make sure to visit the bar across the street to see the Elvis impersonator perform.
