Home away from home.
The owner is awesome, very accommodating, relaxed atmosphere, rooms were spacious and clean. Food was some of the best on our trip and pool was great. It is Right on the beach for swimming or just fall listening to the waves! Many expats come for drinks and they are very warm and inviting you feel like your home.

Lage des Hotels in der Nähe der Stadt und direkt an einer neuen sehr schönen Promenade mir direktem Strandzugang. Direkt neben dem Hotel ist die rustikale Rokera Beach Bar und Restaurant zum günstigen trinken und gutem essen sehr zu empfehlen. Insgesamt sehr schöne Anlage mit kleinen aber vielen Schwächen. Schlafen im Hotel, Essen und Trinken direkt nebenan. Leider gab es in dem Zimmer keinen Kühlschrank. Der Pool war besetzt von mehrern Jugendlichen die nur eine Tagesnutzung gebucht hatten. Alle Liegen waren besetzt und es ging auch sehr laut zu. Die Poolliegen waren danach patschnaß. Das Poolwasser war nicht sehr sauber. Zum bestellen von Getränken muß man klingeln, damit jemand kommt. Leider war das Personal das für Essen und Getränke zuständig war, nicht gerade sehr freundlich und komplett ungeschult. Ein Teil der vorhandenen Getränke, z.B. Strawberry Cocktail war nicht vorhanden, ein kompletter gegrillter Fisch sollte 26 Dollar kosten und auch eine anderer Fisch war auf der kleinen Speisekarte nicht verfügbar. Deshalb haben wir auf diesen Hotelservice verzichtet sind direkt nebenan in die Rokera Bar und Restaurant gegangen und waren dort viel preiswerter und auch sonst sehr gut bedient worden. Auch das günstige Frühstück kann man dort vorbestellen und direkt am Strand genießen und muß nicht in dem dunklen Frühstückraum des Hotels sitzen, bei dem man auch nicht weiß, was es als Frühstück gibt.

When we arrived, never having been there, we were immediately made to feel very much at home. They acted like they truly appreciated our business and our company there. The first person we met was Mario. He was very welcoming and friendly and let us know if there was anything we needed to let him know. The girls that work there are also friendly, and almost by accident, we met the owner David. David is great! Puerto Armuelles is fortunate to have him and his business there. He was also very accommodating and interesting to talk to. Our stay was awesome. We absolutely enjoyed our time there and look forward to coming back again. They have the best place on the beach and met all of our needs. The food was good, the drinks were good and the company was great! Awesome, awesome place!

La ropa de cama y el colchón un poco gastado por lo menos el de la habitación que utilizamos. Las porciones y preparación de la comida a la carta no corresponde con el precio. Especialmente de las carnes y mariscos. Lo demás todo bién. Propietario norteamericano o de habla inglesa, es un hotel enfocado en turistas extranjeros. Al ser nacionales no mostró buena empatía. El personal bién buen trato.

Best hotel in puerto armuelles. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Really enjoyed the restaurant and beach views. The pool is clean and the grounds are well kept. They have a nice upper deck area. Come here a few times a year just to relax.

In July 2022 I pre-paid for a reservation but at that time there were strikes in all Panama, roads were cut and the hotel was closed. Nevertheless, the owner has repeteadely refused to recognize my right to reschedule the stay and just kept my money. Simply a robbery.
