Nous arrivons dans cet très bien situé certes, mais fortement déçus car il n’est mentionné nul part que tout l’espace détente est en rénovation (piscine, jacuzzi, etc).
Nous sommes donc très déçus puisque nous avions choisi cet hôtel uniquement pour le spa. Je l’ai donc expliqué à 2 reprises, à 2 personnes différentes de l’accueil. Arrivés dans notre chambre une chaleur horrible est présente et c’est normal puisqu’un chauffage d’appoint électrique est allumé au maximum alors qu’il y a déjà un chauffage/clim au plafond pourquoi ?!
Ensuite un monsieur totalement inconnu, réussi à rentrer dans notre chambre avec une autre carte magnétique, et pour finir nous allons quand même boire un verre dans le lounge bar de l’hôtel sur recommandation de l’agent d’accueil. Des prix exorbitants, donc nous prenons seulement une bière et un kir pour la somme de 12€. Nous aurions pensé que les boissons auraient pu être offertes, c’était la moindre des choses à faire mais non RIEN.
Une chambre plus que moyenne pour une nuit à 135€, heureusement qu’il y avait une baignoire spacieuse pour sauver un peu le séjour.

Un charmant hôtel avec un très bon restaurant
Les travaux se terminent pour l'heure espace spa privatif et payant. L'accès à une piscine était gratuit et représentait un plus par rapport aux autres hôtels des alentours. Voir si cette stratégie sera payante à l'avenir.
En attendant, notre séjour dans cet hôtel a été impeccable. Chambre spacieuse, petit-déjeuner offrant un choix très satisfaisant, restaurant sur place le soir avec une carte très correcte. Si vous restez plusieurs jours, vous pouvez également trouver d'autres restaurants dans la ville basse pour varier les plaisirs.

Mauvaise expérience tant pour la chambre que pour le restaurant. Chambre qui cache la misère d un mur dégradé avec une planche visée ( signalé il y a 6 mois par une autre cliente). Peinture qui veut faire effet vieilli et qui pour le coup réussi a faire très moche. Sinon chambre propre. Restaurant médiocre, six malheureuses tranches de magret fumé au milieu d' une feuille de salade, un filet de lieu sec il faut chercher la sauce. Rien n est vraiment cuisiné ni élaboré. Sans parler du dessert. Nous avons évité le petit déjeuner..trop peur. A part l emplacement de la ville haute, aucun intérêt et sûrement pas un 4 étoiles.

Would whole-heartedly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Provins. We stayed here for a couple of nights in January 2025 and were blown away by the huge room complemented with a table and chairs outside. The room had amenities such as a safe, wardrobe, kettle with coffee and tea, as well as all the necessities for a few nights. The only missing appliances were an iron and a fridge. We were also really impressed by how helpful and friendly all the staff members at reception were, who went out of their way to accomodate us. It is also located just 5 minutes away from the centre and major sites. A free outdoor parking area is also available as part of the hotel. Only gave 4 stars on location as having visited in January, most sites in Provins were closed and the city was quiet, but we enjoyed walking around and visiting a couple of gardens, streams and the Provins Remparts during our day in the town.

Very nice property, the nicest out of the other Originals hotels we have stayed in. The spa and massage facilities and services were great. The hot breakfast buffet was a plus. The restaurant was a little expensive, landing between bistro and fine dining but not clear as to which it wanted to be. The receptionist who checked us in and out was great.
