Coming from the island of Malta where the sea is basically around the corner, I was reluctant to go to Sicily for my summer holidays. I do not really like summer and the heat anyway, and would trade my summers by the sea for summers in the fresh mountain air. Reading an article, however, got me intrigued about this hotel and having spent the last 4 days it has surpassed my expectations. The setting is dreamy, the central courtyard enjoying a cool evening breeze and a sunset panorama that's a loving sight every evening. The service is most friendly and the food in the hotel leaves you wondering why one had to go out at all to other eateries, even though as one would expect from Sicilian restaurants they still didn't disappoint in any. That's how special the evening dinners are at the hotel. Not to mention their breakfast, not only the choice is vast, but the quality is superb. Moreover, what I found mostly impressive is that such a hotel isn't in the south of France, or Amalfi, or even Taormina where operating such a resort successfully is relatively easier due to the type of tourists that frequent those destinations. Successfully running such a hotel in Marsala is a true testament to the dedication of everyone.

Baglio Oneto è un posto speciale come lo sono i suoi proprietari che lo curano con grande ed evidente passione. Le camere sono belle, curate e spaziose. La colazione è varia e con una grande scelta tra dolce e salato. Viene servita nella corte interna del baglio in una atmosfera molto rilassata e da un personale gentilissimo. Anche il ristorante che abbiamo provato la sera dell'arrivo è ottimo. Bella la zona bar e piscina con una vista spettacolare all'ora del tramonto . Un grazie speciale ad Anna e Alessandro.

This hotel is a joy to visit. We have now been home for two weeks and I'm already thinking when we can visit again. Everything about it warms your heart. The staff are the loveliest ever, the food wonderful, true to Sicilian flavours and generosity. Tasteful, gentile, a true delight. Views over the beautiful Sicilian countryside with the most glorious sunsets. Beautifully appointed rooms. You will not be disappointed.

Ho trascorso qualche giorno di fine agosto al Baglio Oneto, un'oasi di pace e di tranquillità curata in ogni minimo dettaglio. Le camere si caratterizzano per l'eleganza e la pulizia, merito certamente di uno staff attento e pronto a soddisfare le richieste degli ospiti con grande cortesia. La cucina e la degustazione ci hanno regalato sapori e odori di una parte della Sicilia che è stata una vera rivelazione. Esperienza certamente da consigliare.

Ho prenotato per due notti una camera vista mare e mi sono trovata al piano terra, all’altezza della piscina, da cui avevo vista piscina e soprattutto non ho potuto aprire la finestra perché mi potevano guardare dentro la stanza. Ho anche richiesto un giorno prima alla cameriera che ho mandato dal pasticcere, un qualsiasi dolce senza lattosio per la mattina seguente, ma non lo hanno fatto. Strano , perché mi avevano detto che era un albergo a 5 stelle. Mi è stato detto che avrei dovuto avvertire la reception ma mi era stato assicurato dalla cameriera che bastava la mia richiesta anche in sala, altrimenti la avrei fatta alla reception senza problemi. Peccato. Un altro punto in meno. Mi è sembrato un albergo pretenzioso.

Abbiamo passato un weekend in questo bellissimo resort. Camera con vista sulle isole, molto curata nell’ arredamento, pulitissima e con biancheria di qualità. La struttura è caratteristica e ben inserita nel territorio , bella la piscina e il giardino. Che dire della colazione? Ottima , completa , con prodotti di qualità e a km 0.Personale gentile e disponibile. Molto consigliato.
