non danno vino e personale scortese, sono qui con amici, abbiamo bevuto una bottiglia di vino in 5 ( mezzo bicchiere a testa), per i nostri standard è l equivalente di una colazione e quando sono andato a chiedere ai camerieri mi hanno risposto che non lo avrebbero più portato senza dare giustificazione. Non avevo mai provato una rabbia cotale, sono indiganto.

We had the best time at Villa Maya we went for our friends 50th & couldn’t have wished for a better venue, the hotel is beautiful with both modern & traditional feel, & so clean. All of the staff are so friendly & go above & beyond, bending over backwards to cater for everyone. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. I would love to go back to show our family too. Thank you Yuri, Suzie & team for a truly magical time, memories made to last a lifetime.

Recentemente ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare con amici nell'hotel Villa Maya. Personale e addetti alla reception sono stati molto disponibili. La camera pulita e molto funzionale. Il design elegante dell'hotel combinato con i suoi servizi ed una piscina top per una vacanza relax, ha reso l'esperienza davvero rilassante e piacevole. Torneremo sicuramente grazie mille.

This hotel is beyond bad, the place is overrun with cats! (At least that will keep the rats away) On the night we stayed the restaurant was for some unexplained reason closed. If you are expecting to have air conditioning then do not go to this Hotel, after complaining, the guy from reception came to the room and turned the control from left to right and said it was fixed, he knew the system was faulty but could not be bothered to help us, he then conveniently could not be found when we tried to complain for a second time. This place is tired and very under funded. We spent a sleepless night in a plus 30c room in this excuse for a hotel. We feel that potential customers should be aware of the utter failings of this establishment. We tried to go for breakfast at 07.20 only to be shouted at through a window “ we open at 07.30” The reception was not open and no one could be found in order for me to make a formal complaint. This establishment will one day realise that the customers are not a problem but a gift that supports their business, we are not stupid and we will bite back as I am doing now. If they had taken our complaint seriously instead of just dismissing us then I would not be typing this review. Customers like you and I are key to their business, we will vote with our feet, that’s probably why this place is now on its knees.

I cannot sing the praises enough of this fabulous small hotel and the friendly, hard working team of staff. We held our wedding vow renewal ceremony here and it utterly exceeded our expectations! Fabulous location, close to the airport for our guests, a stunning location surrounded by olive trees and sunflowers , a superb pool, wonderful food, accommodating , patient and helpful staff, a good little gym, lovely breakfast buffet and generous sized and nicely styled bedrooms with modern bathrooms mixing traditional charm with modern twists. A great find! We all loved our stay there and we will be back! Thank you Yuri, Suzi, Sara and the rest of the team for making my Tuscan dream a reality!

In 2022 waren we hier ook. En omdat we het zo fijn hadden gehad dit jaar voor een paar dagen terug gegaan. Er waren wel twee dingen die we vorig jaar heel fijn vonden, maar die waren dit jaar anders. Het ontbijt was niet meer in buffet vorm je moest van tevoren aan geven wat je als ontbijt wilde dat was wel goed geregeld maar anders en we konden niet meer buiten zitten. Dat vonden we wel heel jammer Ook miste we dit jaar het tuinhuis waar we vorig jaar heerlijk wat konden drinken. Maar de plek was nog steeds geweldig.

Struttura bella e con un grande potenziale ma decisamente migliorabile, soprattutto nei servizi. La camera grande e spaziosa (una "suite" d'angolo con salottino e bagno recentemente rifatto). Materasso buono anche se troppo "sostenuto", lenzuola di ottima fattura. Molto bella la piscina di forma sinuosa, poche persone e molta pace. Personale gentile e discreto. Veniamo alle note "dolenti": La colazione da prenotare il giorno prima è più utile agli albergatori che agli ospiti. Primo perché non si può scegliere nel dettaglio (barrare la voce "salumi" non si sa cosa voglia dire: il primo giorno ho trovato due fettine (DUE) di speck, il secondo tre fettine di orrenda spalla industriale) e secondo perché in questo modo la scelta è troppo ridotta e mancano totalmente i prodotti locali e "fatti in casa" (torte, marmellate, miele locale, uova strapazzate, pomodori, pane integrale, ecc) per favorire i monoporzione industriali già predisposti ai tavoli. Il cliente deve poter scegliere e servirsi a volontà (il primo giorno ho provato a chiedere un secondo croissant ma non c'era). Il "bar tisaneria" all'ingresso offre solo qualcosa da bere: niente gelati per i bambini (d'agosto, in una giornata trascorsa in piscina!). Niente servizio pranzo, neanche qualche facile insalata o piatto pronto, costringendo il cliente a prendere la macchina per cercare altrove... Direi che per il prezzo della stanza il servizio vada decisamente migliorato.

Molto bello il posto, tranquillo e gentilissimi i proprietari. Ottimo il parcheggio. Mangiare ottimo, sia colazione che cena con prodotti di alta qualità . Unica pecca la camera: aria condizionata insufficiente e il bagno senza bidet: neppure avevo guardato se lo avesse, per me era ovvio ci fosse (infatti del senno di poi era scritto ma ….. assurdo!)
