Great stay. Fairytale location and attentive, punctual service. Good cleaning. The restaurant is excellent.
Signage needs to be improved for those who are unfamiliar with the area and are arriving at the hotel for the first time.

Schon bei der Ankunft, noch vor dem Einchecken, gab es keinen Zweifel mehr, dass uns traumhafte Tage bevorstehen. Die Lage des Hotels mitten im Wald und Park von Santa Barbara, der sehr große und saubere Pool, die guten Parkmöglichkeiten und der allgemeine Topzustand haben uns sofort begeistert.
Die Rezeption ist mit hochwertigen Kunstwerken sardischer Künstler geschmückt und gleicht eher einem Museum als einem Hotel.
Wir erhielten ein kostenloses Upgrade und bezogen das Deluxe-Zimmer.
Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers und des gesamten Hotels war wirklich hervorragend!
Der Tag begann jeden Morgen mit einer freundlichen Begrüßung und einem reichhaltigen Frühstück. Das hoteleigene Restaurant ist groß, sehr gemütlich und das Abendessen wird täglich frisch mit Kräutern aus dem eigenen Garten zubereitet. Die Atmosphäre im Hotel ist sehr freundlich, gepflegt, sauber und zuvorkommend.
Bei schlechtem Wetter kann man sich im Spa-Bereich (extra buchbar und nicht im Preis inbegriffen) entspannen.
Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.
Jeder einzelne Mitarbeiter hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Das Frühstückspersonal war sehr nett, ebenso das Personal an der Rezeption. Wir möchten uns noch einmal ganz herzlich bei Inga bedanken für die wertvollen Tipps zu Sehenswürdigkeiten, Informationen zur sardischen Geschichte und Kunst und allgemeine Infos über Sardinien - wirklich interessant vermittelt und sehr informativ!
Vielen Dank an alle- wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Doveva essere una meta di passaggio e invece siamo rimasti una settimana! L’hotel Orlando è un luogo accogliente, arredato con molto gusto, caratteristico per le numerose opere d’arte esposte. Il personale gentile e affidabile, in tutti i servizi offerti, ci ha fatti sentire coccolati e un po’ speciali. La cucina è deliziosa nel rispetto della tradizione e a base di prodotti biologici. La struttura, curata nei particolari, è situata in una posizione strategica per chi vuole approfittare sia del mare che della montagna. Abbiamo dormito benissimo al fresco, malgrado la canicola marittima. Consigliatissimo.

Quest'anno, per ragioni di forza maggiore, soggiorno breve rispetto al solito, per noi di assoluta soddisfazione. Confidiamo di poter tornare per un week end lungo nel mese di settembre. A metà agosto faceva caldo anche ai quasi mille metri del bosco di Santa Barbara di Villagrande Strisaili, ma erano sempre almeno 8/9 gradi centigradi in meno del mare distante 22 chilometri. L'hotel Orlando qui è una risorsa eccezionale, un pezzo dell'eccellenza della biodiversità della Sardegna pura, con cui c'è una simbiosi perfetta. E la piscina, bella e funzionale, unica, ne fa un'oasi di benessere per chi fugge da casa, fatiche, città, rumori. L'Hotel Orlando ti accoglie con arte (anche in senso totale, se si pensa alla bellezze dei dipinti e degli intagli sulle pareti della hall e del ristorante) e ti fa apprezzare la natura che avverti fin dentro casa. Chi viene qui, viene per una vacanza speciale, diversa dai villaggi della movida estiva. Si viene per star bene con se stessi e con la propria compagnia, per conoscere la natura e la cucina dell'Ogliastra, di una Sardegna unica e vera. E' un merito fare ospitalità di livello qui. Una sfida che merita più attenzione. E intanto va avanti con il passaparola degli ospiti (molti escursionisti e ricercatori stranieri) che, una volta scoperto questo gioiello nel bosco (i cartelli lungo la strada Villanova Villagrande sono spesso "abbassati" da vandali), fanno girare la notizia sui loro circuito. Hotel ok per ospiti ok.

L'ogliastra già la conoscevamo,ma non questa struttura,che è fantastica,ci ha fatto vivere 6 gg da favola,impregnata delle nostre tradizioni,quadri e ceramiche di grandi artisti Sardi,arazzi,serigrafie in camera,bella,PULITA e ordinata,personale che non ti stressa ma sempre attento,materie prime buonissime e cucinate con sapienza,(l'orto e li a fianco),vino buono,la piscina è enorme,con chiosco, e hai la tua privacy, bici elettriche perché sei nel cuore di Santa Barbara e i percorsi da fare sono tanti uno piu bello dell'altro, il mare fantastico comunque a 20 minuti dalla struttura,ma siamo andati una sola volta🤣le piscine di bau mela a pochi km ,il top in assoluto,faremo di tutto per tornare il prossimo anno!

Abbiamo solo cenato ma molto delusi per il pessimo rapporto qualità prezzo. I piatti non erano quelli della cucina sarda, assomigliavano di più a un pasto da autogrill: verdure grigliate pallide e assolutamente senza sapore, funghi pieni d’aglio, i salumi (che in questa zona sono molto buoni) LI AVEVANO FINITI e ci hanno portato pochi pezzi di formaggio che non era niente di che. In compenso abbiamo pagato proprio tutto e caro (tranne un bicchiere che abbiamo rotto a onor del vero) compresi 2 piatti di pennette all’olio per i bambini 20 euro!! Il posto è bello, ma per chi vuole assaggiare la tipica cucina e ospitalità sarda ci sono tanti posti meno cari e pretenziosi e soprattutto 1000 volte più buoni!!
