The hotel is like a tribe, very beautiful, with its own area for growing vegetables and raising chickens, various restaurants of different styles, and various environmental scenes of different styles. A hotel especially suitable for rest.

Su Gologone has been a gift. Your buildings, but mostly your people, have been a blessing. You have made my heart happy, and even better, my wife’s heart. Genuine, caring, spirited, fun, talented and passionate has been my experience here. I am ashamed I do not know names, but the faces are etched in my mind. The smiling and humble face cleaning up outside and carrying our bags. The helpful, courteous and competent faces at the front desk. The energy and confidence in the faces of the team in the dining room. The concentration and hard work of the men on the grounds. The incredible voices of the singers at the dinner last night. All wonderful and collectively a gift to me and my beautiful, restful time of holiday. Maria at the art studio has been a special gift. So caring and so patient,; a common artistic spirit with my wife. Watching my wife create beautiful art with Maria’s help has been the highlight of my trip! 😀 God speaks to my heart in so many ways; nature, beauty, challenges and opportunities. On this trip He has chosen all of you to remind me of good, of beauty from within, of humble service and of His very Creation. As we leave here I will be thankful. I will be refreshed. I will be rested. I will be I will be happy. I will be content. You have blessed me. Gracie! Grazie! Grazie!

My experience at Su Gologone was magical. It is a beautiful hotel, a try oasis of calm and serenity. The staff were impeccable, incredibly friendly and helpful. They went the extra mile and helped fix my broken suitcase as well as arranging excursions and a packed lunch for me. I was travelling on my own and felt truly welcome. The food is exceptional and worth a visit just to try the many tasting menus that they offer. A highlight was the vegetarian menu served in the hotel’s vegetable garden. I cannot recommend this hotel more. It feels like a secret garden, with lots of different areas to explore. The rooms are gorgeous and you can see all the small touches brought by the incredible owner and designer, Giovanna. I can’t wait to come back every year!

This place is worth a visit, both for the natural surroundings and for the refined, yet simple, atmosphere. The cuisine is excellent, with revisited traditional flavors. There's a wide variety of very tasty first courses (maccarone de busa, gnocchi with wild boar ragù, pane frattau, and fresh pasta with eggplant). Unfortunately, we couldn't continue with the second courses because we were so full, but the suckling pig we saw being served at nearby tables was very inviting. The desserts are excellent (as we noted while enjoying the homemade ice creams). The price was fair, and the digestives were on the house.

We booked a three-night half-board stay in May well in advance, so we got the deal for two nights. Normally, this hotel is quite expensive, but this deal was well worth it. A lovely, spacious room with a terrace and jacuzzi, and an excellent breakfast served on the terrace with a beautiful view. We had a fixed table in a good location in the restaurant, and there was no fixed menu for half-board, but a choice of all dishes from the extensive menu. The atmosphere is very Sardinian, with furniture and decor brimming with history everywhere. "It's a hotel with a heart," as someone noted. The staff is extremely friendly, and attention to detail is clearly evident, but the price reflects that. The pool is inviting, and the complex offers several beautiful locations for all sorts of activities. A bag with pool towels is in the room. The location is quite remote, and there is no elevator. Not recommended for those with walking difficulties.

From the moment we turned into the drive entering the hotel property, we knew we were about to experience something amazing. The Old Spanish architecture was charming. We were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff members who made us feel right at home. Our room was clean and comfortable, and had all the amenities you would expect. The dining experiences were first class and afforded outdoor views that were simply stunning. We found the service to be prompt and pleasant. The food was great! The location of the hotel was convenient to many wineries and other attractions. For us, one of the best features was the quiet and totally relaxing atmosphere. Our stay was wonderful and we would definitely stay there again.

We loved this hotel more than any we have ever stayed in. So many things to see and so many experiences on offer. The rooms and bathroom were slightly disappointing, but the other areas made up for that. The general restaurant has the most stunning views. I couldn't imagine a nicer setting for breakfast. The food was traditional and very good. Prices in the bar are similar to the UK. Every corner of the entire grounds was like an art gallery, or a museum, or just beautifully landscaped gardens. They grow lots of their own produce too. Very pleasant staff, which was always the case at other 6 hotels we stayed in during our trip

This is a very different kind of hotel. I believe it started off as a restaurant and so many people came here to eat. They built a hotel around it. The hotel comprises several different white stucco buildings scattered around the property. The people at the front desk could not have been nicer with a special shout out to the lovely Simona. The restaurant serves hardy, adequate fare with a nice selection. They also have a reasonably priced wine list. It was a perfectly pleasant place to have one’s evening meal before walking back to the room. The flora of the property is quite stunning with both wild and potted flowers everywhere which sent the air with a perfume smell. This is far from any busy roads so it is a very quiet place and very suitable to getting a great nights sleep. They have a very nice pool with full service to the clients and a great gym as well. We were a little bit, disappointed in the upper Terrace. The way the sofas are designed make it hard to lean back. Moreover, because it was so busy, we did have some difficulty getting good tables there in the evening. This being said, the drinks were very well crafted and came with a generous array of little snacks as is the custom in Italy. They also have another, very agreeable bar down by the reception area, which is where we ended up most nights. The people who work there were very nice. For breakfast, they had just about anything you could want. Sometimes, toward the end of the breakfast service, they would run out of various items and not replenish them. Some mornings we were offered coffee by the servers. Other mornings, without any explanation, we Made it ourselves at a self service machine in the breakfast room. Not really a problem just a little confusing. This place mostly gets points for its location. It is in the mountains and offers a vast array of activities such as hiking, rock, climbing, swimming. You name it. The hotel will help arrange these activities and, in my opinion, they were all fairly priced. There is a lovely, freshwater stream within walking distance of the hotel, and it is also located close to many Nuraghe excavations. I also recommend a drive over to Cala Ganone, a very pretty beach town, not far from the hotel. The owner of the hotel is always on site and could not have been more gracious, lovely, and helpful. I admire her for what she has done with this property. This is by no means a luxury hotel. In fairness to them, they do not profess to be. They have a mini golf course, which is in desperate need of maintenance. They appear to cater to groups of bicyclists and other tour groups, which sometimes cause a little congestion. Also, people with motility issues need to be aware. There are a lot of steps. Also, the rooms sometimes are built on different levels and with the white floors in the white steps, it can be very easy to trip. In summary, I’m very glad we went here. If you love the outdoors and want to get a taste of the mountainous part of Sa
