We had five nights at this great hotel in a large well equipped room with a large first floor terrace with table and chairs and sunloungers to catch the evening sun. The pool was lovely with plenty of sun lounges. Several restaurants within a 15 min walk and only 10 mins to Otranto
Good breakfast selection. Great value hotel and so pleased we chose to stay there especially with the easy parking

L’Aia Grande is a charming B&B situated in the countryside but only a 10 to 15 minute walk to local restaurants in Casamasella and Uggiano La Chiesa. The owners ensure that you have a great stay and are helpful and kind. The property is well maintained and clean. The pool is ideal, not too deep within a lovely garden setting. The rooms have air conditioning but I found that the bed was quite hard - however I think that this is usual in Italy. It was useful to have an empty fridge in the room to keep our water and drinks cool. There is parking under cover so the car was in the shade - out of the hot sunshine. Breakfast has many home grown or home made items, like fruit, jam and cakes as well as yogurt or eggs and bacon. This is a wonderful place, we just wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful B&B in the sunshine
We had a fantastic time, the property is beautiful, its swimming pool/ garden area is absolutely perfect. Everything is very well maintained and conveniently located for trips to the beach/ Otranto etc. The hosts are very lovely and helpful. I highly recommend this place, if you want to have a relaxing time, this is the place.

We loved our 2 night stay at Aia Grande! Rooms were so clean, spacious, and well laid out. The beds were very comfortable! The breakfast was very good and the staff was both friendly and helpful with dining recommendations and much more! We highly recommend staying at Aia Grande 👍

Wonderful Stay!
If you are looking for a quiet, family owned B&B look no further. Ana & Piero are wonderful hosts - extremely hardworking and nothing was too much trouble. They were always on hand for anything needed and gave us great recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try. The accommodation is clean, impeccably maintained and we really enjoyed the garden and the pool. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with various things on offer to suit everyone. The B&B is well located in a lovely village, which has a couple of restaurants & other amenities and is a short 10 min drive to Otranto and a great place from which to explore the Salento region. Can’t wait to go back!

I was in this amazing pension two years ago. When I arrived I was just impressed by this beautiful place. Tastefully furnished. I came back later at least eight times! The quiet, the cleanliness, just what I needed. The sea is only three kilometers away. The food at the restaurants near is just excellent, the best pizzas I have ever eaten in my life. The host and his wife are charming and kind people. They gave me everything I just wanted. The breakfast is homemade and delicious. Thank you very much, obviously I'm coming back.

L'Aia Grande is a lovely B&B in a rural part of Puglia. We booked a larger room overlooking the pool, where we enjoyed watching the birds dive bombing the water. The room was kept nice and clean with a good supply of toiletries. Pierangelo and his wife were excellent hosts who were happy to help with recommendations for good, local restaurants to eat at and places to visit. Both were extremely kind and helpful and went out of their ways to do what they could for you. The breakfasts that they supplied were amazing with a great variety of food including cakes, breads, fruit + yoghurts. It was a great chance to try out some of the local goodies. This is a quiet area of Italy and you do need a car to get around, in order to visit the larger towns and cities or beaches. Despite the week starting with rain, we had a wonderful time and want to thank both Pierangelo and Anna for a great stay!

Vorrei incominciare questa recensione facendo una sincera e dovuta dedica,sì perché Pierangelo e la sua signora,persone squisite e di una disponibilità rara,hanno fatto di questo posto un luogo unico,chi ama la ricerca del relax beh qui nn sbaglia,lontano dai rumori della città un parcheggio coperto e custodito una piscina ben curata,stanze dallo stile moderno complete di ogni comfort pulizia ineccepibile per non parlare delle squisite colazioni preparate con amore che vi daranno quello sprint giusto per incominciare al meglio la vostra giornata.Che dire ancora,giro tanto e vi posso assicurare che questo B&B è uno dei migliori in assoluto.Grazie ancora Benny Decio
