Un fin de semana extraño, con sabor a decepción El hotel tiene un potencial enorme: las instalaciones no están mal, el trato es correcto y la comida también estuvo bien. Pero a medida que iban pasando las horas, todo se fue desinflando… y acabó convirtiéndose en una experiencia frustrante. Lo peor, sin duda, fue el aire acondicionado. Lo reportamos por la noche y nos dijeron que lo arreglarían por la mañana. A la mañana siguiente seguía igual. Volvimos a comentarlo y esta vez simplemente nos dijeron que sí, no funcionaba, que ya lo revisarían… pero, evidentemente, no mientras estuviéramos allí. ¿La sensación? Que esperaban que los siguientes huéspedes fueran más conformistas o no se quejaran. Mientras tanto, nosotros a pasar calor y a resignarnos. La limpieza de la habitación dejaba bastante que desear: lo justo para aparentar, pero sin esmero. Además, el aislamiento acústico es prácticamente inexistente, se escucha todo de las habitaciones contiguas. Una verdadera pena. He estado en Isla unas 20 veces, y desde luego no volveré a este hotel. Muchísimo mejor el Hotel Astuy: lo recomiendo con los ojos cerrados.

The hallways are well-lit, and the rooms are clearly labeled. The single room is about 20 square meters, or spacious. It has a comfortable layout and had a small terrace. The bed was 1.35 meters wide and comfortable, although the pillows were perhaps a bit old, and in my case, it was as long as the bed. The soundproofing was good; outside noise was not audible, except for some from the hallways. The lighting was adequate, and it was possible to leave it in the dark. The furniture was more or less in good condition. The TV was about 30 inches and had numerous local and national channels, as well as stations in English, German, Spanish, etc. There was an individual air conditioning unit that I was able to use. The bathroom was very spacious and comfortable, with a large shower. It was adequately lit. The taps worked correctly, except for some water leaking from the connection between the shower head and the hose, which I reported to reception and was not resolved. The towels were pleasant. Breakfast was adequate for this category and was a buffet. I also had dinner, which was good and varied. In short, a good hotel for this category.
