Latest Reviews for South Tyrol Hotels

Hotel Lener
4.4/545 Reviews
Hotel Lener is great for staying near the Austrian border and enjoying the beauty and peace of South Tyrol. The structure is well maintained, the outdoor spaces are liveable, and there is also a playground for the little ones and an indoor games room. The swimming pool is a bit small but nice, the sauna must be booked. You can access the wellness area from early morning to evening after dinner. The really special thing, for train enthusiasts or luxury travel enthusiasts, is the possibility of sleeping in a suite set up on an original Orient Express carriage. The details are very accurate and outside you can enjoy a small terrace and a corner of the private garden. To give to someone special!
TH Corvara - Greif Hotel

It has everything to be a great hotel, but fails on key details! We stayed at TH Corvara for new year (8 days). We were first allocated to the old part of the hotel a room just above the dance floor. The room was very old no decoration and the carpet on the stairs was probably still the one from the 70’s very dirty. We could not sleep properly for 3 nights given the boom boom boom with the karaoke and dancing. After multiple complaints they move is to a suite on the new part of the hotel - which was very nice. Nothing comparable. We ended the last 2 nights in a superior room, which was also nice. We booked half board. The food is really good, but the service is terrible. Staff is really nice but totally untrained. The first night it was so chaotic they even offered us the wine. The wine list is really goods there is one staff Andrea that is really passionate and is very kind ! Every day they have amazing pastries and dessert. Unfortunately I am gluten intolerant so not much choice for me… The pool is really nice with an outdoor area. The spa is ok - sauna is nice but the relaxing area not that nice. There is not water fountain and you have to drink cheap tea in paper cups. The massages were good but again the area is not that nice and still those paper cups… The lobby and bar decoration is hideous with advertisements of other hotels of the group. So we hardly stayed there. For new year they did a huge apéro (food was great) but there was no where to sit to eat it, so very chaotic. The new year banquet service at table took so long that I only had the primi dish and left at 22:30 after exhaustion of not having slept for the last 3 nights. I wanted to booked some excursions - they sent me to the tourist office. Unfortunately because the hotel did not upgrade their system to the new digital guest pass I could not book any excursions. I ask them and they apparently tried for 3 days but no success. One day the cleaning lady took away our memory wine bottle and did not replace the towels. Everyday we had a problem and had to complaint. Staff was always nice and trying to help, but most time untrained and incompetent. Overall a bitter feeling … and not a hotel I will come back or recommend, unless management changes is done.
Hotel Bemelmans-Post

This was the best holiday ever. The friendliest hotel ever, so accommodating and we ended up staying a further 3 nights. Stefan was most welcoming and filled us with information about the hotel. The food was outstanding giving you the menu for the next day to chose from. Breakfast had so much choice and everything was so fresh. We were allocated a dining table for the duration of our stay which was ideal. The spa was outstanding with 3 types of saunas and a steam room, outside was a pool and jacuzzis. We had 3 different rooms due to us extending our visit every room was well facilitated and beds were so comfortable also with great views. We were also given bus passes to visit the local area and bring us to the hill trekking area which brought the stress away from driving everywhere. The staff was so friendly and very professional. We can’t fault anything about this holiday it was fantastic. Thank you to Stefan Brunner, family and staff for a wonderful time.
Paradies Pure Mountain Resort

Diamant Spa Resort

We had the pleasure of welcoming the New Year for the third time in the most convenient and comfortable Hotel Diamant, where we already feel at home, thanks to the pleasant and cozy atmosphere created by the wonderful and kind hosts - the Musner family and their team. We are fascinated by their kind attitude towards each guest, as well as by the professional response to our wishes - always responsive and smiling. The food in the restaurant, as always, was extremely tasty and varied. The hotel is very clean and warm, well maintained, with a great spa, especially the sauna. And again this year Michele was with us - a great ski guide, an outstanding professional. With him we went around all the slopes and did the most fun ski tours. Michele knows all the wonderful restaurants with the most delicious food, with the best views of the Dolomites and above all we experienced real emotions. Thank you, Michele, for making our ski vacation unforgettable. Expect us next year as well, we will come to Diamant Hotel again and we hope that Michele will be with us again. Special thanks to Verena and her family - you are exceptional professionals! We will recommend the hotel and see you again next year.
