Chalet Al Lago

The hotel is very charming and beautifully located on a lake, offering stunning views. The rooms are spacious and clean, though they’re not very modern—in fact, they’re a bit dated—but still quite nice overall. What really stands out is the staff: they are incredibly kind and made us feel truly like family. Their hospitality is exceptional. The restaurant serves excellent food—everything we tried was delicious! Breakfast, however, is nothing special, especially compared to the high standard of the restaurant. All in all, the value for money is excellent, and the hotel is conveniently located very close to Cortina, making it a great base for exploring the area.

The property is located in an extremely beautiful location on the banks of a small and beautiful lake, surrounded by the view of the mighty Dolomites on all four sides. The staff and the rooms are also very good with great amenities.

It’s a great location for families with kids, the lake is behind the lodge with walking trails and nearby parks. Our room was in good condition but it was hot, next day the staff brought a fan and that was so much better. Great staff.
