I have to say that the house was absolutely beautiful. The furnishings were incredible. Breakfast was good. When we arrived on a Thursday afternoon It was about 95ﾟ out. We went to the front door rang the bell but there was no answer. We went around to the back door knocked on the door again no answer. So we sat out front for a little bit then walked around the house again and finally the Housekeeper open the door. She asked us if we were expected? Well we said we do have a reservation At which time she made a phone call and was told by the owner that she could give us a key and show us our room. We were up on the 3rd floor and It was so hot that it took hours to cool the room down . It would have been nice if someone had put the air conditioning on earlier in the day. Remember it was a 95ﾟ that day. We hung out waiting for the innkeeper as we had some questions about the area and maybe some input on some good restaurants. We never saw him Until breakfast the next morning. Not only did we not see him but we did not see a single soul. So here we were alone in this giant beautiful home feeling like we were in an episode of a scary movie. We did come to find out that another couple did check in around 10 o'clock that night. Once Friday night came and there were other guests around the atmosphere was a little more welcoming. The question of would we go back again? If we did it would have to be on a weekend. I'm not going to say we had a bad time we did have a good time . It just didn't have the warmth of other b&b's that we have visited. I do have to say the place was beautiful and very clean which makes it inviting. Try it!

I had the most dissatisfying stay recently at the Hampton Inn in Smithfield RI. This was a one night local getaway for me to have a little alone time, to get some work done, and to relax. I have often stayed at Hiltons but not at the particular location. Right off the bat I found the desk person to be grumpy, short with me, and unfriendly, Not to mention that when I arrived I had to wait for him at the desk as he was outside, Once settled in my room the wifi was inaccessible. I tried several times and there just wasn't a strong enough signal for my computer to hook in. Not only was this disappointing but it didn't allow me to get the work done that I had planned on doing. The room above me sounded like a bowling alley all night long so sleep wasn't possible. In the morning the tv no longer worked, Seemed to possible be a bug with the clocks falling behind or something. Then, when leaving, there wasn't even anyone at the desk to speak with - just a box to put in your plastic room key for disinfecting. All in all it was a very disappointing stay and I won't be returning,

Myself and two other colleagues stayed here for a client visit. The entry was very clean and inviting and the food/coffee bar was very good. The property is undergoing renovations and my colleagues were on the first floor which has already been renovated. I was on the 4th floor which has not yet experienced the facelift. My room was clean and orderly. There were a few areas that definitely were showing the age of the room. There was an impact crack in the sink, some wallpaper was coming off the wall in one corner and the drawers were not in good shape. The room also had no USB ports for charging and therefore you had to use a wall plug/use charger which made it a bit of a pain. I was expecting USB chargers at minimum at the desk. Overall my experience was very good. Just wish I could have been in one of the renovated rooms which are, I was told, very nice. Maybe ask for that when you check in.

I have to say that sometimes when I’m traveling to an area I don’t know very well, I won’t stay at a hotel if it’s not a name I know. I expect a certain standard when I stay at a reputable chain such as Hilton. This isn’t an awful hotel, but there’s nothing special about it. Our room needed updating. It smelled like mildew. There was mildew or some sort of stains around the peripheral of most of the bathroom ceiling. There were stains that looked like either lipstick or blood all over the outside of the bathroom door. The parking garage was crowded and filthy. The button that you were supposed to use to let yourself in and out of the parking garage didn’t work so you had to call for assistance every time. like many hotels, they are not servicing the room if you stay multiple nights and that’s fine. But I called and requested towels and they never delivered them. The hotel website implies that there is a restaurant. There is not a restaurant. There is a bar that’s open in the evening, and they may serve food in the evening, but that’s not a restaurant. The television was awful. There was no literature in the room or in the hotel about things to do in Providence. this is not an awful hotel, but it’s not a good one, and it certainly isn’t up to the Hilton name.

We host our 2 and 3 years old, since check in experience has been great. The hotel is renovated with the wonderful rooms and the incredible service, excellent location My family and I have had the privilege to spend a few amazing days in the hotel, The staff is amazing all super friendly and serviceful always smiling and willing to help you in anything you ask, The hotel has a indoor and outdoors pool during the weekend there was music around the pool and the environment was great ! We had the opportunity to meet one of the executives JC name a spectacular person just someone who makes the difference Thanks to him and all the other staff for making our memorable holidays We will certainly come back !!!

Always use a Marriott hotel. This one was very disappointing. We made our reservation 2 months ago with a request for a top floor and away from the elevator and it would be a late check-in. We arrived at 9pm, only to get 3rd floor and across from the elevator. We were also not told it was a handicap room. Room was clean but disappointed. Only a handheld shower head because of the handicap room but the shower head was falling off the wall. Shampoo bottles not able to read. Pillows too soft. And no tea bags. They only provide coffee, which we don't drink. Front desk told me I had to go to market and buy a tea bag The hotel was under renovation. The exercise room did not have wipes to clean equipment and some of the equipment was not working properly. Upon leaving, poor customer service as they never asked how I stay was. Not sure I would stay here again.

Only stayed one night, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff who checked us in was friendly and helpful. They seem to have thought of everything -- including providing mints and homemade cookies in our room, having a well-stocked common room with coffee/tea/hot chocolate/ice/wine and champagne glasses and wine buckets available. Our room faced the highway, but the windows were well-designed to block out highway noise so it was not a problem. There was a white noise machine in the bedroom in case you needed it anyway. Breakfast was very good -- lots of choices. Room was large, bathroom was clean, and bed was comfortable with amazing sheets! The B&B is lovely, clean, and conveniently located near downtown Providence and many local universities. I will stay here again for sure. It was so much nicer than staying in a cookie-cutter hotel.

There was hair on the bed, there was a mineral water bottle lost by the previous guest in the trash can, the restaurant did not have dinner, nor did it provide take-out menus from surrounding restaurants, so Starbucks in the lobby settled the dinner
