A estadia no Morgadio da Calçada foi uma experiência maravilhosa. O espaço é lindíssimo, cheio de história e muito bem preservado, mas com todo o conforto moderno. O quarto estava impecavelmente limpo e muito acolhedor. A equipa foi sempre simpática, atenciosa e pronta a ajudar, fazendo-nos sentir verdadeiramente bem recebidos. É um lugar onde se respira tranquilidade e que transmite um encanto especial em cada detalhe. Recomendo sem duvida a quem queira desfrutar do Douro com conforto, charme e hospitalidade genuína.

Lugar muito acolhedor, onde a história clássica da quinta e a arquitetura moderna se encontram com equilíbrio perfeito! Muito bom para descansar e aprender sobre a história da produção de vinho . Autêntico refúgio na natureza , onde a simplicidade e simpatia do staff estão ao nível da qualidade do espaço. Espero voltar a repetir a experiência !

Very nice hotel in the out skirts of town, quiet, situated in an old wineyard with luxury new rooms situated in new buildings. The owner was very charming and engaged. The food we got for both breakfast and dinner was very tasty, and served with a smile from the staff

Eine Oase der Ruhe! So ein schöner Ort in den Weinbergen.!!! Zimmer top mit gute Matratzen und Wasserkocher für Tee/Kaffee. Der Wein vom Gut war mega lecker, auch das Abendessen ein Erlebnis! Auch def Pool war herrlich und wir kommen gerne wieder. Das Personal wie der Eigentümer super freundlich!!!

A beautiful winding road takes you to this unique restored vineyard guesthouse. Lovely walks and a delicious breakfast were enjoyed.

Do not consider anywhere else!
Unique experience in this small family run authentic hotel - it’s not really a hotel it’s an experience. Location is unbelievable and it’s a quaint character filled small winery. We loved the wine paired 3 course meal, Manuel welcomed us to this more than 400 year old winery that’s been in his family for generations. Totally recommend for a trip to Duoro it’s not just a place to stay.

The property is managed by a family who have owned the vineyard for generations. The rooms are in one of their renovated stone buildings adjacent to the villa. The rooms are beautifully designed and comfortable. You can enjoy dinner and a wine tasting in the living room with cozy furnishings and a warm fire. Make sure you get a tour of the old wine production in the lower level of the villa.
