This was just a bad hotel experience. We had two guest rooms from May 21 to May 23, 2025, when we were in Maryland for the University of Maryland graduation in College Park, Maryland. The room on the first floor got flooded by a plumbing issue in a room above it (the water was brownish), and the room became unusable by early on the first morning of our stay. (The 6 people in our party showered in the other room we had reserved.) The hotel clerk offered to upgrade us to "2 king-size rooms" to replace the one flooded room. When we returned to the hotel at 6:30 pm, we were advised that there were not enough rooms available for the upgrade they had promised. Instead, they gave us an even smaller room than the one that had been flooded by the plumbing issue. It was one of the worst guest rooms I've ever seen in a hotel -- it was a small room and was partially below ground level.

A Broken Executive Room
Booked an executive room however encountered a few issues: 1) Restroom door was not locking; 2) No exhaust fan in the restroom; 3) Flush was intermittently failing; 4) Extra shampoo instead of body wash; 5) Room had a strange odor when we entered;
The breakfast was good, however, majority of the stay felt compromised due to the aforesaid issues
