Absolutely disgusting Room because it was busy that weekend they up the prices from $70 to $391 they took advantage of the fact that it was raining and we were on motorcycle we tried to find something else but at last minute like this nothing was available on a finishing not you can play with the price is is what is but to rent a room filthy like this to customers well they have no shame anyway we ended up sleeping with our clothes on and we got out of there at first sunlight the pictures will explain everything ,,, just remember $391

The sheets , linen and towels were excellent but the lighting was appalling one light had a green bulb, one a pink one with 2 missing and 1 white but rather dim. In the kitchen facility there were 2 bowls, 2 plates one knife and 1 fork!! it slept 4. try taking turns to eat shreddies on a fork. the receptionist was very sweet and polite. be warned you have to pay a $100 deposit and if its cash its doubled!!!

I'd like to say 'you get what you pay for'. But actually we got less than what we paid for. The room type booked 2.5 months ahead on purpose was not available. We got a lesser room for the same price. Half the light bulbs in it didn't work. The bulbs also were coloured. The staff didn't seem to no how to work them. The kitchenette contained two bowls, one knife and fork, for a room allegedly to fit 4 people. The folk loitering in the carpark were scary. Staff attempted to be accommodating.

This place really underwhelmed me. Super seedy area which was fine for one night except that when I arrived the office was locked with noone in sight. When I did get my room, it reeked of smoke so badly that I lit a candle. The air conditioning worked but was very loud. Shower had not been cleaned, was very grimy and had hair in it. Not sure if this is the standard in PG but I won’t be back.

As a relatively inexpensive town with plenty of reasonably-priced places to stay, we reckon one can hardly do much better no matter how much you’re willing to pay. Most of the other properties are equally generic and uninspiring (a wee bit like the town itself, so sorry to report), so why not save some money and give this place a chance? It feels a bit dated, but this fairly large motel delivers on most of the basics: cleanliness, adequate room temperature control, noise levels under control (despite the sketchy people outside at all hours, whom you really can’t ever escape from completely in this town, to be honest), reasonably comfortable bed, good toilet pressure and water temperature controls in the bathroom, decent lighting options in the room, enough electrical outlets to charge your piles of modern junk, workable wi-fi, decent housekeeping, and generally helpful staff.

Very nice service at front desk. Awful room. Very old carpet. Musky smell. No screen door for balcony. Loose toilet seat. Wall is patched but not sanded or painted. Poor pressure in the shower. Don’t recommend. Stay at Econo Lodge down the street with clean and somewhat renovated rooms. Similar price.
