We come with the family every year to Pine Lake and one of our go to place as well we’re here is Longlands. Visited again this year and were not disappointed. The food was absolutely superb. The king prawn starters were delicious with quality decent ice king prawns. Then we all had the roasts which were fantastic. We’ll probably be back again before the end of the week. Highly recommended.

Great location for touring around The Lakes ready for our onward trip to North Yorkshire. We spent 5 nights at Longlands Inn which was a very pleasant stay. Our deluxe room, above the inn, was quiet, spacious and looked out onto a field of sheep, also a small caravan park which was very quiet. We had everything needed in our room except a fan which, in my opinion, is a necessary extra given there was hardly any air flow into the room with windows widely opened and especially where there is no air conditioning. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good with a fair selection to choose from.

We stayed in a 2 bedroomed cottage, a couple with an 8yr old child. Everything was perfect (apart from the weather!) Beautiful, well maintained accommodation and delicious food in the hotel.

We needed a stopover that was near the M6 to break our journey. This was an ideal Inn to meet our requirements. Our room was large and comfortably furnished. The bed was huge and comfortable. The quilt was quite heavy, and maybe a lighter quilt would have been better given that it was very warm at night. We opened the window at night. The noise from the roads did not keep us from sleeping. The outside bar area was close by, and people were chatting but that was not a problem after about 9.30pm. The room and shower were clean. We were advised to book early for meals, which we didn’t do, and were able to get a table to eat, but I would advise booking ahead to get a time that suits you. This is a busy venue. The staff were all friendly and efficient. We visited Sizergh House and Keswick and Kendall. I would recommend a stay here and will return when we travel north in the future.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Stayed 3 nights and can’t fault the service, accommodation and food. Would wholeheartedly recommend. What a wonderful place. 5 stars!!!!

Lovely place to stay, has an excellent bar and restaurant. The food was fantastic both for evening meal and breakfast! Very clean and spacious bathroom, only downside was I found the room was a bit on the small side, very warm. It was facing the road so opening the window to let in cool air in the night was not an option due to road noise.

Bright fresh and modern downstairs. My single room was in fact a small double with a big modern bathroom. Well furnished and comfortable. Dinner was good if not outstanding. Overall, the price was very good. The staff were superb. Friendly, efficient and they went to a huge effort to find a pair of binoculars I thought I’d left behind.
