Very classy decor, garden is something to behold! Everywhere you look, a hand of an artist can be seen. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. I felt safe and realised the owners are also very much concerned about safety. Great value for money

My daughter and I stayed at 98 on Lynburn from 4 to 8 July and had a truly delightful experience. The host, Frik, was warm, welcoming, and incredibly considerate—making sure everything was just right for our stay. The property is nestled in stunning gardens, creating a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. The interior is beautifully maintained with thoughtful touches that really enhance the comfort and charm of the place. Every detail feels personal and cared for. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious, and the service was attentive without ever feeling intrusive. It’s clear that the team takes pride in making guests feel at home. The only minor issue was some traffic noise in one of the rooms, but that’s an easy fix with acoustic glass—and didn’t detract from the overall experience. We would highly recommend 98 on Lynburn to anyone visiting Pretoria. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, beauty, and warm South African hospitality.

What a great guesthouse! Nestled in a good part of the city, close to shops and restaurants, this place is really worth it. Very clean and well fitted out. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the furnishings. Thanks for the rusks and sherry. The gardens are also a good spot to relax in. Would definitely recommend this - I'll be back! In a busy schedule this place felt like an oasis! It is conveniently located, close to anything you may need and the unit was so beautiful and well appointed. Peaceful and conveniently located.
Manus was an excellent host and he made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The guest house is very well located for access to Pretoria East. The gardens are immaculate and the fountains give a very peaceful "away from it all" feel to the place. Comfy bed and good WiFi. High recommended; we will stay again.

The reception was already very friendly. There was a free private parking lot on the property. The apartment was very tastefully furnished and decorated. It is situated in a beautiful garden with several water features. The extensive English breakfast was served in the room.
