Worst nights sleep ever was kept awake all night by screaming baby at the top of its lungs from night till early morning aswell as constant loud banging from the fire door slamming open and shut non stop with people going out for a cigarette. When I complained at the reception in the morning I was given the managers number to contact and complain when I tried to phone him I was continually fobbed off and then staff were audibly laughing at my requests. Terrible customer service.

Not great but cheap!! Long walk to room. Staff on reception OK, room had no curtains, got woken up by trees being pulled down @ 8am!! No pre warning, provision of ear plugs etc. Attended restaurant for breakfast we had to ask staff where we needed to order as numerous staff members walked passed us!! 10% reduction of breakfast voucher given at booking in. Not the best experience at all!!

Bar very cold all night. Door left open between bar and reception. Reception area has wall mounted heating and is not even switched on. Makes for unpleasant cold evening. Need to try harder and think about customers

Stayed bed and breakfast as attending family party. All staff were extremely helpful and pleasant . The first room we were offered was fine however as a ground floor room the windows had decorative window bars on (making it more secure from unwelcome visitors) which I would not be happy in as quite claustrophobic. I was then offered another room which again was lovely- crisp white bedding , large wet room, lovely grey carpet. Yes it was just off reception and there was a bit of noise when we first when to bed but that’s other people not the hotel.Breakfast was really good and plentiful ( 2 of bacon sausage eggs- 1 black pudding 1 hash brown, beans, tomatoes ,and mushrooms followed by toast. The only strange thing was the tea or coffee was charged as an extra not provided within the breakfast. However great value for money and would definitely stay again. Agree some corridor carpet needs replacing but I can only comment on the rooms I was offered

Staff very pleasant but service was really poor. Had a meal in the restaurant/bar lots of males in watching football really noisy. The service was appalling. The plates very hot, food was not! Waited ages for food. No one else eating!! Really disappointed in the food for the price. Should be 2 star. Needs an overhaul. Parking really good and outside area fine. Rooms boxy and small but adequate if dated.

Honestly the worst sleep I have had in a hotel EVER. They have a function room so noise is an issue, i did not know this when I booked. Walls are paper thin and I would be generous if I said I had 4 hours sleep. The reception area is quite nice but once you go down the corridors to the hotel rooms they stink. The carpets are filthy and smell like damp and cigarettes covered up by shake and vac. The room itself was ok, basic. They left us two very small towels which just wasn’t enough. The window had completely blown so we could not see out. The gym is extra, breakfast is extra and currently at £7.99 for a full English- didn’t see tea/coffee prices. We didn’t eat there as I couldn’t wait to leave, there’s a Tim Hortons and mc Donald’s 5 min drive away. The room itself didn’t look too dirty however I just felt grubby after being there and the corridors were enough to put me off. We booked via *********** and I messaged the property explaining my issues and no reply! Literally a waste of money as I came home exhausted

I stay regularly at this hotel, at least once a week. I started working near to Manchester January 2023 and stayed in various hotels, Air B&Bs et. I was not keen on returning to any of them, until I found the Fairways. After my first night I knew it was going to be where I wanted to return to. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Whilst the decor may be a little tired, that does not prevent me from feeling safe, welcomed and the room is clean. I regard it as value for money. If the Fairways Lodge team are reading this - thank you - you do a great job :-)

Me and my friend had an overnight stay, the staff were friendly, the rooms are small but really clean, the bed was super comfortable, plenty of parking, for the price I was really impressed, I can’t somment on the food or waiting service as I didn’t have a meal there, the bar was lively

I found this hotel prior to Xmas 2022 due to working in the area. And still staying here now. Rooms are very clean , warm , with complimentary tea and coffee. Towels and soaps provided in clean pod en suite shower room. Gym facility is good , squash courts great , plenty of ( very popular ) exercise classes to participate in every night of the week. Staff are second to none , all very friendly , very helpful (reception staff & bar staff ) along with the locals who use bar for drinks and food. No complaints from me 👍🏼.
