Recently visited this gorgeous hotel with friends and family (now before I proceed to rant) we did have a lovely meal and a great play in the wonderful play area which all in all would have made an excellent summers day. Until we ventured inside to witness the elderly "Manager" bombard a female staff member almost to tears in front of almost everyone to which I found highly unprofessional and unnecessary, now unfortunately I am a nosey Nancy so after a brief conversation with a local family member I have not only been informed but also witnessed that this man not only speaks down to his staff members but also is incredibly inappropriate with female patrons and get progressively worse the more he drinks (which is frequent) from what I was informed. Such a shame that a beautiful destination with what I have been told has dedicated staff and patrons alike being ruined by someone who simply doesn't seem to want to be there just looks ready for retirement and a long holiday in my opinion. Not only that the atmosphere inside is that of a dive retirement bar next to no music blue collar workers everywhere dictating the length of the bar and music as faint in volume you could hear a pin drop. Such a shame but kudos to the wonderful staff member of that beautiful hotel.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Radnorshire Arms. The hotel rooms were spotlessly clean and full with all the amenities needed. All of the staff I met were extremely polite and so helpful. As someone who doesn’t particularly like a cooked breakfast, the fact that it was a continental breakfast offered was actually a big positive! My only issues were that the walls/windows of the lodges at the back of the property are very thin so everything could be heard. As well as this, the blind on the back door (which was unlocked when I got into the room & lucky that I noticed) didn’t go down. This made it tricky to sleep. All in all, I’d definitely stay again. Would like to see what the rooms are like within the main hotel as they were sold out for the weekend I was there.

Very friendly, welcoming, helpful staff throughout makes for
a lovely homely atmosphere. Rooms are comfortable with modern bathrooms. The quality of food, excellently prepared for dinner and at a great price makes a vist to the restaurant well worth a visit.

Car parking is available as long as you enter your reg in the hotel. A delightfully ancient and historic building. Friendly staff and perhaps overly casual in one significant case. No lift and steep stairs. Plenty of rooms, many not in the hotel. The bar is a relaxing space. A lounge is set aside for residents. The dining room was in keeping with the atmosphere of the hotel. A good menu at reasonable prices. The food was acceptable. Breakfast was without a cooked provision and this very much seemed at odds with the theme of the hotel. The coffee was good.
