Room: The room was large with lots of storage space, bathroom with a very narrow shower, large tub and outdoor shower. Lots of insects, like ants, millipedes, mosquitoes in the room every day. The bed was completely saggy, the water in the sink didn't drain. Our room had no insulation and had large gaps in the window and door frames, so the air conditioning worked outside too. Food/drink: There are two restaurants on the property. The main restaurant for breakfast (good!) and dinner in the evening with a buffet and a live cooking station. The food was all well prepared. Everything in the restaurant was very cramped. Loud fountains and music plus guests walking around made it complete chaos. Eating in a somewhat civilized manner was out of the question. Water was only available in plastic bottles on the property, breakfast with paper napkins. After the first evening we always went to the second restaurant, the beach restaurant. As a half board guest you got 50% off the various dishes there. The tables, the atmosphere, the food, the service were good and you could have a civilized dinner. Of course there are additional costs that you have to be prepared to pay. Facility: The hotel is located on a wide beach that slopes gently into the sea. It goes about 50 m into the sea before the water depth is 1 m (be careful of high and low tide!). There are few fish to see as there is no reef. The hotel is spread over various single-story buildings. Depending on the booking class, there are small to large rooms or houses. The main restaurant and reception are in the middle, as is one of the two pools. This pool is small and more of a children's paddling pool. Everything is very close together. The garden is well maintained. A second pool towards the beach is "adults only" and also not suitable for swimming. There is a café/bar/restaurant on the beach. Lots of hotel loungers on the beach, SUPs and kayaks - free for guests to borrow. The fitness center in a newer building is well equipped. Staff: Friendly and helpful. General: The hotel was the least good of the three hotels we visited in the two weeks on the Seychelles and not a 5 star hotel, subjectively I would classify it between 3-4 stars. Everything is old and a bit "used". Both pools are not very attractive. There were massive sand fleas on the beach, it's not the hotel's fault, and we'll be thinking about their bites for a few weeks to come.
