From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were welcoming and professional! They made dining recommendations and offered to arrange for taxi service. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the view was spectacular. The dining room staff were friendly and dedicated to our enjoyment. I highly recommend Hotel Ona Verde.

It doesn't get much better than this. A beautiful hotel perched on a cliff overlooking the sea. It was just paradise. Our room was clean and charming. The view from the terrace was worth a million dollars. You wake up and have a great breakfast overlooking the coast and all the boats out in the water. You can also have a great dinner with the same view. You can hang by the pool and enjoy the view and some drinks or go down to the beach in the cove and dive right in. Getting around the Amalfi coast can be a challenge but this place is located just right. It is out of the craziness that is Posatano, but has everything right there. The dock for Praiano is right below the hotel so you can board your boat tour or water taxi right there. There is a little cove with a beach right next to the docks so you can just walk down the ramp to the beach. There is also a beach club (without a beach) right below the hotel that has chairs and umbrellas. As with any place on the Amalfi coast, walking includes stairs. The walk up to the town of Praiano is not easy but worth it. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. They arranged our transportation to and from the Naples train station. They also arranged our boat tour of the coast and Capri. It seems to be a small staff so you get familiar with them pretty quickly. They are there at breakfast, while your at the pool and again at dinner. Makes for a very comfortable stay.

Simply put, this is an amazing hotel in Praiano. The design/architecture of the facility was incredible (as it was excavated into the side of a rock cliff). Warm, friendly and attentive staff in all areas of the hotel. The views of the sea were incredible from each of the rooms and from the dining area, pool and various ***** patios.

We could not fault this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful the rooms and facilities and food were all excellent and the views were breathtaking. Not sure about Amalfi coast roads though - would definitely recommend taxis (although quite expensive) instead of car hire.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon trip to Italy and had the most magical time. The location was perfect - quieter, but still offering amazing views and tons of great dining nearby. The town of Praiano is so charming and we loved exploring by foot, and had great experiences dining at Kasai, Il Pirata, Che Bonta, and also visiting One Fire Beach Club for the day. The proximity to the marina/pier is unmatched (just steps away) and water taxis were easy to book and a convenient, quick way to get to Positano and back for nicer dinners. (Highly recommend taking one at sunset, it’s gorgeous!) The front staff were super helpful in arranging both water taxis and our boating excursion (and even helped us rearrange our plans when the weather initially wasn’t great for our boating day). We booked a room with a large balcony and enjoyed having the extra space with a stunning view of the marina/beach/coastline, and the bed was super comfy (w/ a mattress pad that we requested). The daily breakfast overlooking the water was a real highlight as well, as well as relaxing near the pool area. Thanks for a great experience. We’ll definitely be back!
