From the moment we walked through the front doors at open gate, we were treated like family. They let us check in early without hesitation. The hotel is the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in, we have traveled many places and we have never experienced such great service. The town of Priano is beautiful, the views from the hotel are incredible. Please if you are thinking about this hotel, book it you will not be disappointed. Thank you open gate for making us feel like part of your family. After staying in Positano we would only come back to stay in Priano, quiet and friendly is what you will get without the crowds.

We had the good fortune of visiting this immaculate family run hotel for three nights in April. Pasquale ensure every single one of our needs was immediately taken care of including ensuring we had a lunch ready as soon as we arrived and booking car service for us. The room and the hotel were spotless- immaculate in fact with beautiful decor. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Perfect location for a visit to the Amalfi coast. **the hotel is right on the road- easy to access- but there can be noise from the traffic during the day** Thank-you for a fantastic visit.

Our stay at Open Gate was amazing! Such a great spot. Located in a little town close enough to other towns. The staff were absolutely amazing! The restaurant is also very good. Breakfast was perfect. No negative comments at all about this place! Highly recommend.

The staff is amazingly friendly & helpful! The view from our balcony was spectacular snd it was extra great to have full lounge chairs on our deck in addition to a table and chairs. The restaurant was delicious . It’s an easy walk to a beautiful beach which made our trip extra memorable.

My bad but should have checked the exact location as didn’t realize it’s right on the main highway, the photo is deceiving.
Inconvenient as dangerous to walk as no shoulder or sidewalk.
Breakfast decent nothing too exciting. Staff pleasant.
Would only stay in Sorrento as pretty trapped anywhere along the coast.

Wonderful hotel and stay! Great location in Praiano, we really enjoyed being able to walk to different restaurants for dinner as well as a hidden gem of a beach with access to water taxis. Food was fabulous and bed was comfy. They also have parking spots available if you rented a car. Our favourite hotel experience on the Amalfi Coast.
